Just-in-before-the-end-of-the-year-2007 Update: Yeah, I'm still alive, and writing. ^_^; I apologize for not posting any notices that I'm still here more frequently, but the same 'Real Life' excuse
problem includes finding the time to sit down and work on the pages.
I really do need to work on/revise all of the pages, at some
point. (Plus, I still would rather not post updates that aren't
more than just "I'm still here," even if it's somewhat necessary, now.
So, I might change my mind on that point.)
Unfortunately, I don't have anything complete to post, at the moment. I was considering posting some drafts, or a basically complete (but still untitled) Ranma/Final Fantasy 7
one-shot experiment. I've been considering adding a forum or blog
in which I could post work-in-progress drafts, the vast amount of ideas
gathering dust in my folders, and artwork. And not all of it has
something to do with Ranma. ^_^
Also, I'm considering ways other than email notices for a simpler way
of letting people know there's been an update to these pages (probably
easier to do with forums/blogs, though), such as an RSS feed.
Oh, and a FAQ for general/story questions, too.
A Goddess' Dilemma is still
(officially) on hiatus. There's still some things I'm debating
about, including the way a certain plot point unfolds, and whether or
not I want to extend everything into a third series (Dilemma
was originally supposed to be the conclusion, for the most part).
If I did write a third series, I'd probably have to
re-map/rewrite AGD.
IMPORTANT:
As of sometime on November 18-19, 2005, my cal.net address
will
no longer exist. It's been my dial-up account for nearly ten
years (back when hardly anyone was using the username
'makoto'
^_^), and I've never had any real problems with it - but due to DSL,
it's mostly been used for email only, for a while.
I haven't decided which of my other email addresses to use as the
'primary' address on these pages, though... because as you all know,
whatever address I pick will probably be completely flooded with spam
by the end of the day. -_- Until then, use my
fanfic.net
address (see below, at the bottom of the page), if you want to email
me. I'm waiting until I make up my mind, before I change the
email addresses on all the pages, though that's probably not a good
idea...
Also, this means that the Unofficial
Magic Knight Ranma pages will be
down for the time being. I'm not sure where I'll put them
(Kiyone, you there? :).
Another
IMPORTANT note: Due to the
above-mentioned email issues, the primary address you can
use to contact me is now:
.
My fanfic.net address is now the secondary address, but only use it if you can't contact me at the primary address.
Also, be sure to include a subject line that's relevant and clearly not
spam (no subject lines that merely say "Hi" or "Your site," for
example.)
I haven't had a chance to update
the story files and all the sub-pages, yet.
Ten Year Anniversary
- That's right; as of 2003, I've been writing
anime/manga
fanfiction for ten years. (My first story being Bubblegum
Splash!,
in 1993.) I'd wanted to post a more substantial update, but RL has been
preventing me from getting much work done for some time.
Update status: I'd update more often, but I grew rather tired of
posting semi-frequent updates that said little more than "I'm still
here, haven't done much, but hope to have something posted
soon!"
-_- 'Real life' has really been complicating my schedule to
no
end (and is showing no signs of stopping @_@).
NOTE: Due to a server upgrade, the address for these
pages has
changed. If you're linking to http://www.anime.usacomputers.net/~makoto/index.htm (or any other URL),
please change the link or bookmark to http://www.fanfic.net/~makoto/.
We apologize for any inconvenience.
This page is currently (always!)
under construction. Suggestions, comments? Email me at
or
if
the first address doesn't work.
I've removed the MIDI-playing routines from this page as it
probably
created
a fair amount of overhead when loading the page, and because I'm
splitting
more of the page off into sub-pages. (I have no
intention of
setting
up frames, though. ^_^) As a way of saying thanks again to ST
for
creating his own rendition of the Sailor Stars Song
and letting
me
use it on these pages, I'm leaving the zip archive of it posted for all
to download.

-
I've done away with the GZip files and all of the stories are now

These stories are essentially the same as the versions stored
in the

etc.
