• May 4th 2005 - Due to my previous host site getting out of co-location with no notice I had to find a new home for the server. The server is now hosted at Castle Comics and Games in Cameron Park CA (Partner in owning the store). This is on a 3.0Mb/512k line should should be fine for the server as that is more out bound bandwidth then I was using before. The only snag so far is apperently this IP either was previously blocked or someone on one of the Mail lists reported the list as spam rather then unsubscribing and mail to AOL address is being blocked.
• Oct 22nd 2002 - Due to spamers being to stupid to figure out I had patched the Feedback CGI script to remove a known security hole that allows spam to be proxied I pulled the feedbakc form off line. I got tired of getting 3-10 e-mails a second in my mail box since they only bother to see if the script accepted the post. They never checked to see if they were actually sent anywhere.
• July 9th 2002 - Fanfic.net has added PsyckoSama's Madhouse as a hosted web site. Home of Awkward Consequences and Circumstance and Consequence. http://www.fanfic.net/~psyckosama/

  I Did some HTML clean up and all the pages should be 100% HTML Spec complient. Check out http://validator.w3.org to validate HTML code.

• July 6th 2002 - I've pulled the Guest Book off-line due to varius issues. You can still use the Feedback Form to let us know what you think.
• Nov 13th 2001 - Upgraded the memory in the server to 320MB of RAM and moved most of the mail list from Majordomo to Mailman.
• Sep 14th 2001 - A welcome to Katcin Lee who has joined fanfic.net http://www.fanfic.net/~thejudge/
• Aug 2nd 2001 - FanFic.net is happy to announce the grand opening of it's discussion forums.
• Aug 2nd 2001 - Fixed some problems for Netscape users with the new style sheets being used. If anything looks strange please contact us!
• Jul 29th 2001 - There have been reports of some of the sites reporting a "Server Not Found" error. This should be corrected. If you get this error please contact <tkinnen@fanfic.net>
• Jul 28th 2001 - Wow! Over a year since I was a good sysadmin and updated the information here. Updated a lot of the software on the server and doing a log of general maintenance. I've updated the raac mirror to now display the full file name rather then truncating the file name.
• Jul 5th 2000 - Now using the domain fanfic.net to reflect the FanFiction nature of the server
• Apr 13th 2000 - Added the FanFiction archives back on-line. Please note that the files will be automatically decompressed for you if you click on one.
• Oct 27th 1999 - Had to replace the last SCSI HD from the original 1995 archive. Upgraded to Solaris 2.7 since I needed to path the OS.
• Aug 10th 1999 - Welcome to Jeff "One Shot" Wong who has joined the USA Anime Archive
• Aug 8th 1999 - Major server upgrade in progress.  NT is history and all is running under Solaris on one machine now.
• Aug 8th 1999 - Main Archives are off line.  This is due to excessive in-line linking.  Referrer control is coming on-line and they may be brought back.

• Nov 5th 1998 - A partial Archive is back on line.
• Aug 4th 1998 - Well, I've had to take the main archive off line as this server alone overloaded a T1.  I'm working on this and it should be resolved.  Until then check out some of the outstanding pages on here that feature many FanFiction authors and some great CGI and Fan Art.
• Aug 1st 1998 - Added many new Eva Images in http://www.anime.sobhrach.com/pub/Anime/Images/Eva/
• Jul 30th 1998 - We're Back!  After a cross country move from FL to CA the USA Anime archive is back on line.
• Jun 1998 - Received a LOT of Sailor Moon Movies.  I'll be putting them on line in a bit.
• Apr 1998 - New stats page with much more info.
• Jan 1998 - The USA Anime Archive is now hosting mailing lists.
• Jan 1998 - After a number of problems with a software update I changed some of the software and the server appears to be fully stable again.
• Jan 1998 - FTP can now resume broken downloads if you client supports it.
• Dec 1997 - The Anime Hideaway has joined the USA Anime Archive.
• Oct 1997 - Looking for assistant administrators. E-Mail tkinnen@fanfic.net to apply.
• Oct 1997 - The Programs are off line. I need some one who can monitor the sections for copyrighted material that is not allowed in the archive.
• Sept 1997 - The Archive has broken the 3GB size mark
• June 1997 - Thanks to a very generous donation the server now has an additional 128MB of RAM installed.
• June 1997 - The storage space for the Archive alone is now 4GB
