How come there are lots of fans dedicated to the task of writing fictional prose based upon anime characters, but there are close to none dedicated to the creation of drawings based on original ideas or ideas portrayed in fanfics? I don't think I am the only one that has fancied "How would Ranma, Ukyou and Akane look with the attires of Hikaru, Umi and Fuu (of Magical Knight Rayearth)?", "How would the Sailor Senshi look in the armors of the Saint Seiya cast?", "How would Ranma-chan look with a Super-saiyan hairstyle", etc. I finally convinced Fernando Martinez Soto to make for me a drawing of something that never (but might have) happened in Ranma 1/2 (Viz Manga P6 #? / Shogakugan V11 P9-11 and Viz Manga Viz Video Hard Battle #4 / Kitty N29). I told him I would like to post it to raac and he didn't minded. BTW, Shampoo is immune to the whisker growing side effects due to her C-Factor ("C" as in cute :). If after seeing this picture someone feels inspired to do a fanfiction, go ahead; but what I would really like to see is people doing high quality anime drawings with that "What if ..." element that makes this newsgroup what it is. In case you are wondering what exactly is Shampoo doing, she is taking care of a pair of nuisances that now and then bother her beloved airen. Their names are written backwards at the end of this post.
