As the title indicated, this was a brief or "preview" type of book on Macross Plus Movie. In fact, the previous TIA books on Macross were more like promotional books then the complete books from the original Macross series. The first 35 pages were color of which the first 28 pages dealt with the images from the movie. The last few color pages had images from real life jets that were used in the jet designs for the anime. This included the XB-70, X-29, Su-27, F22-, YF-23, F117, and the B2. The next section, pages 32-50, which were in black and white, had line art of the characters. Pages 51-66 were the last color section of the book. Except for the last few pages, it had more scenes from the movie. Page 63 started the brief section of "CG meets Japanimation". It provided several images where CG art was used in the movie. The remainder of the book, starting page 67, was in black and white. It was made up of more line art of hte characters, mecha, and background. It also included interviews of Art Director Hariu Katsufumi, Director & Mechanic Designer Kawamori Shoji, Producer Takanashi Minoru, and Assistant Producer Nakashima Shinji.
