Jeffrey "OneShot" Wong Final Fantasy 7/Ranma 1/2:When worlds collide "Shiva!!!" Cloud shouted as he summoned forth the ice queen Shiva. The clouds opened up as she hovered the heavens like an angel of god, or perhaps death. She raised her hand as blue sphere's of light emerged from everywhere, absorbing into a tiny ball at her outstretched hands. Ranma leapt backwards as far as he could as Shiva let loose millions of ice crystals. "Hiyru ShotenHa!!!!" He shouted in mid-flight as he let forth a tunnel of wind straight toward Shiva. His blast absorbed the ice crystals and made his own blast stronger. The blast came rocketing toward Cloud, his lone opponent. Cloud saw the spiraling blast come rocketing toward him. The only thing he could do was cast a spell to reflect it back. "Magic Reflect!!!" he shouts as a magical barrier surrounded him. To Cloud's surprise, Ranma's ki-blast wasn't a form of magic, meaning he was stuck full force by the blast. Luckily, he had been wearing his diamond armor which he had attacked the Ice and Added Effect materia. It managed to absorb most, but not all, of the blast. Cloud looked pissed. He got up to his feet, pulling the sword from his scabbard that hung across his back, a sword he got after defeating Sepheroth. It had the longest blade Ranma had ever seen. "Bolt 3!!!" he said as he extended his arms forward to cast a spell. Ranma looked up into the sky and noticed it darken before his very eyes "Oh man, this is gonna hurt!" A massive lightning bolt came down on Ranma, striking him with such forth the ground below him exploded. As soon as all the smoke and dust cleared, Cloud was shocked to see Ranma still standing there. Ranma, although he had been electrocuted, wasn't hurt that much. "Man, Akane's cooking hurts more than this!" Ranma said with a smirk "Mouko Takabisha!!!" Cloud was forced to lunge out of the way. Unfortunately, he was forced to take his eyes off Ranma. As he rolled to his feet, and gazed toward Ranma's direction, he was no longer there "Where'd he-" "Behind you" Ranma said menacingly "Kashuu Tenshin Amaguriken!!!!" Ranma punched Cloud in the chest several thousand times in a matter of seconds. His hands moved faster than light. Cloud was propelled backwards from the impact, slamming into the outer wall of the Tendo home. His diamond armor, which was made out of pure diamond and was considered indestructible, shattered, leaving him armorless except for his materia bracelets. Ranma looked at Cloud. Cloud shrugged his shoulders "I'm not through yet" He brought both hands forward "Bahamut Reborn!!!!" "Now what?" Ranma said. All of a sudden, the ground started shaking as Ranma was forced to take his eyes off of Cloud to keep his balance. He was forced to squat low to the ground so he would have a lower center of balance. The huge section of the street Ranma was standing on was ripped from the ground and started to levitate toward the sky, where the clouds parted. Ranma was on that tiny rising island. Ranma peered over the side of the tiny island toward the ground "What kinda attack is this?" So what if he was several thousand feet up in the sky. All he'd have to do is jump right off. Akane could hit him higher with her mallet. A deafening roar could be heard from behind Ranma. Ranma turned around and stared in absolute horror. A massive red dragon was hovering in the sky directly in front of the floating mountain he was on. "I'm outta here!!!" Ranma said, leaping backwards off the floating island. As he plunged back down toward the ground below, he saw the red dragon let forth a powerful blast of fire, the fire so intense the island melted, and then exploding. Cloud looked up into the sky and saw Ranma falling. He wondered what had happened. His opponents were usually in the sky much longer before Bahamut's breath sent them spiraling back toward the terra firma. That is, not unless they jumped off the island. "It doesn't matter" Cloud said with a smirk. Ranma wouldn't be able to do anything while free falling. He was a sitting duck. "Leviathan!!!" Cloud shouted, extending his arms once again. A huge sphere of blue light formed over Cloud, hovering there for several seconds before shattering to reveal a massive sea serpent. The serpent caught sight of the free falling Ranma, roared, and let loose a tsunami straight toward Ranma. Ranma caught sight of the tsunami heading straight toward him "Water. Why water?! Arghh!!!!" he managed to say before being consumed by the blast. Cloud knew this was the end for his opponent. He was going to call forth his most powerful summoning spell "Knights of the round!!!" King Arthur and his knights of the round table appeared, heading straight towed the figure within the tsunami. Before the attacks commenced, Cloud quickly recalled his summoning. He noticed a red-haired girl within the tsunami. He ran forward and dove, right before the girl hit the ground. "Ranma? Is that you?" Ranma-chan jumped to her feet, in her battle stance "Who'd you think it was?!! Mouko Takabisha!!!" Cloud jumped out of the way before being struck. He rolled to his feet "Ranma! Is that really you? It's me, Cloud!!!" "Cloud?" Ranma-chan looked at Cloud curiously. "Yeah" he said "You know Tifa" Ranma remembered Tifa. He had accidentally bumped into her while he was in his girl form. They had started talking to each other and soon became friends. And not much longer after that, Tifa introduced Ranma to Cloud. "Now I remember" Ranma-chan said. "Long time no see" Cloud smirked. Nabiki, Kasumi, and Akane both looked at Ranma and Cloud. Soun and Genma were both out. Ranma introduced his friend, "Guys, I'd like you to meet a friend of mine," Cloud bowed respectfully, "Hello. My name's Cloud" "Hello, welcome to our home" Kasumi said in a very pleasant voice. "Will you be staying here for a while?" Cloud regarded Kasumi for a moment. The girl looked reminded him of his lost love Aerith for some reason. Her plasant demeanor reminded Cloud of Aerith on the day he and her first met. "Hello," Akane stepped forward, "Hello, I'm Akane." She noticed that the young man looked like he was somewhere in his early twenties. He was clad in some odd looking armor that seemed to make Nabiki's eyes bulge. "I-is that diamond?" Nabiki asked, looking intently at Cloud's armor. The entire chest area was made of pure diamond. Cloud nodded, "Yes. I'm thinking of getting rid of it. You're welcome to have it when I do," Nabiki nearly fainted at the thought, "T-t-thank you," "Can I take this off?" Cloud asked, pointed toward his armor, "It's getting real hot in this." "S-sure," Nabiki said eagerly. She wanted a closer inspection anyway. Cloud casually removed his diamond armor and let it drop to the floor in a loud clank. He also took of his one shoulder protector and weapon harness, taking more care to place them on the floor unlike his armor. "W-where did you get this?" Nabiki asked, picking up the armor. The diamond sparkled in her hands, almost blindlingly. Cloud shrugged his shoulders, "This dragon left it behind after I defeated it. It's not that great though. It helps absorb magic, which is pretty good, but it does very little in terms of physical defense," "Dragons?" Akane asked, "What are you talking about? There aren't dragons around here? Dragons don't exist," Ranma smirked, "And neither does magic, yet this guy knows it," Cloud scratched the back of his head, "Well, I still have a long ways to go. I haven't even begun learning the white magic materias" "W-what are you talking about?" Akane asked, "What do you mean by magic? You know magic? You're lying," Ranma smirked and placed a hand on Cloud's shoulder, "C'mon, Cloud, show 'em. It sure blew me away when I first saw it. Save those summons spells for later," "Well....." Cloud thought of it for a moment, "Perhaps I better not. I mean, I already did enough damage," Cloud figured it was best to change the subject since he had been weakened considerably from casting so many spells. "So, Ranma, have you learned anything new?" Ranma smiled, "Yep, some really cool stuff. I hit you with one of them, that hurricane blast. You took it pretty hard in the chest, you all right?" Cloud nodded, "I'm fine. It just caught me off guard, that's all. I thought it was some kind of magic, but since it wasn't, I wasn't expecting it to hit me so hard." "What's going on here?!" Akane said, exasperated. Ranma turned toward Akane, "Akane, I met Cloud not too long ago. Remember that blue light we saw a year or so ago. Well, it turned out that it had been some gate that opened up worlds between ours and Cloud's." "This is too much," "Wait, there's more," Ranma continued, "When I went there to check it out, I saw Tifa, I explain her to you later, and we chatted for a short while. After a short while, that light appeared and Cloud emerged. That's how we met. He came to this world to bring Tifa back with him, and I guess we became friends since then. Pretty weird, huh?" "Who's Tifa?" Akane asked. "Well, she's this really beautiful girl with long brown hair. She's also into martial arts but she's much better than you. Heck, Akane, you would get jealous because she's so prett-" Ranma's sentence was cut short when Akane punched Ranma in the face. Cloud's eyes widened as he saw Ranma brush off the devestating blow, "Um, didn't that hurt?" Ranma shook his head. Akane malleted Ranma with a mallet that came out of nowhere. Before Ranma blacked out, he said, "Okay, not that hurt," Akane, finished with her morning jog, came home to a very different sight. When she walked to the backyard, she caught sight of Ranma and Cloud sparring each other. Ranma was easily the better hand to hand fighter, but Cloud, wielding and bokken, was easily parrying all of Ranma's attacks. Cloud was skilled with a weapon while Ranma with his hands. If the two of them were to ever truly fight each other, the outcome could go either way. When the sparring was over, the two young men sat down on the deck, stretching for a bit. "That was a good spar," Ranma commented, wiping the sweat from his brow "I can't believe how well you can handle that sword. Boy, when Kuno sees how you use a sword, his mouth'll drop to the floor." "Kuno? Who's he?" Ranma said, "No one to really worry about. He's like a swordsman like yourself, except he isn't all that great at it," "Whatever you say." Cloud said, shrugging his shoulders, "You, man, you're a great martial artist. I couldn't even get near you, even with the bokken. You, fighting casually, remind me of Tifa when he reaches her 'limit', except you're much quicker" "Um, thanks, I think," Ranma said, dubiously. He didn't know if it was a compliment or not to be compared to a girl. But then again, he knew Tifa was a great martial artist. "So, how long do you plan on staying here, in Japan?" Ranma asked, curious. "Well, I don't really know. Aside from Tifa, there's no real reason for me to go back to my world any time soon, but Tifa'll understand." Cloud said, looking up into the sky, "I'll probably stay here for a couple of weeks. Visit the world." Akane stepped up behind the two, "Where will you be staying?" Cloud shrugged his shoulders, "I'm not too sure, but I don't think I have to worry about the money. I brought plenty of Gil with me," "Gil?" Akane asked, "What's that?" Cloud reached into his pocket and pulled out some Gil, "This," He handed it to Akane. When she quickly took a glance at it, she realized that what she was holding were rubies, "Rubies!" She couldn't believe this. First, Cloud was wearing amor practicaly made of pure diamond and now he had rubies. If he sold his armor and this Gil he carried, he could probably buy the world. "What? Are they worth anything here?" Cloud asked innocently. Ranma nodded, "They sure are. Man, with one of these....Gil....you can pretty much buy this entire house. How about you give me a couple of these?" Cloud smiled, "Sure. I have plenty of those. Take as many as you like. Consider it my way of thanking you for taking care of Tifa," "Tifa, who is she?" Akane asked. Her eyes were more on Ranma than Cloud. "Is she your girlfriend?" "She's my best friend," Cloud said, "We've known each other since we were little. We fought side by side when we saved our world." Ranma laid back, resting his head in his hands, "How is she?" Akane's brows creased a bit at that question. "She's fine," Cloud said, "She wants to come visit this world, but the part of actually getting to this world gives her the biggest headache so she decided not to. Besides, she said she wanted to stay behind and help out with the reconstruction of our world," "What happened? What do you mean by the reconstruction of your world?" Ranma asked. "Well, basically, our world got destroyed..." Cloud followed Ranma and Akane and Nabiki all the way to their school. The four of them were engaged in conversation, mostly questions about Cloud's world and what had happened to it. As Cloud walked down the street, many people eyed his oddly, for he had a massive sword strapped over his back. The sword was larger than Cloud, the blade twice as thick. "Um, you do know that you shouldn't be carrying that," Ranma commented.
