Jeffrey Wong IN MY HEART I silently sobbed as I stood upon that cliff, Knowing that a simple leap would end my misery. The waters below crashed against the rocky ledge, Its delicate moisture felt from where I am perched. Tears gently trickled down the side of my face, Glistening in the light of the dawning sun. The fluttering winds seemed to call my name, Continuously telling me not to leave this world. I hear the majestic waters pleading for me to remain, My life more valuable than what I believe. In my heart, I believe their words are true. Believe them so much, I will not end my life. For now, I silently sob as I stand upon that cliff.
