The Matrix Series got progressively uglier
I don't care for The Matrix series. People praise it and all on how wonderful a series it is. I don't see what's so great about the series. I did like the first movie because it did impress the hell outta me with some rather innovative special effect during its time. Unfortunately, when you see stuff like the 'Matrix Effect' with the camera trick on basically everything nowadays, it kinda loses its novelty. You see that 'Matrix Effect' more often than a fat Black chick using the word 'voluptuous' instead of 'fat' to describe herself.
Now that all three Matrix movies are out, I have come to the conclusion that that series got progressively uglier with every revision. You don't believe me? Take the box cover for the movies for instance.

The box cover for the first Matrix movie was pretty nice.
It wasn't an exceptional box cover, but it was nice nonetheless.
Now take the box cover for the second movie,
Matrix Reloaded. They look more awkward than a Conan O'Brian monologue.
Look at the top of Neo's outfit. I never knew an outfit top could have NO wrinkles
at all.
Now look at the third box, Matrix Revolutions. Holy shit, now that is one UGLY box cover.
Gee, I wonder how hard it was to make it. It looks like some dude basically took four random images from the movie and used Photoshop to form a single image for use as the box cover, taking care to add the "rainy" effect to make it seem more dramatic, despite the fact that only two of those pictures actually had rain in it. Afterall, rain seems to make anything seem more dramatic. Afterall, why do you think so many horror movies prone to using rain as a key setting?
You disgree with my observation and don't believe the box gets progressively uglier? Okay, then how about the actress that plays Trinity, Carrie-Anne Ross?
She wasn't all that pretty at the beginning of the series and became downright ugly by the third movie. To all those people that think she's beautiful, I just wanna make this statement. "You've got to be kidding me if you think she's pretty". Okay, I'm sure there are people out there that don't think she's ugly and that she's actually pretty, perhaps beautiful. Of course, these people are probably the same people that think Angelina Jolie, Drew Barrymore, Gina Gershon, and Uma Thurman are pretty as well. I don't care what you people say, they're ugly and Carrie-Anne Moss is the leader of that pack.

Here's a picture of her from the first Matrix movie. She doesn't look all that
bad I must say. However, she doesn't look all that pretty either.

Here she is from Matrix Reloaded....Is it me or does Trinity in here have a
nose almost as nasty as Michael Jackson's nose?
What the fuck happened here?
In the ultra-superficial world of movies, a face that gives off the 'normal' appearance doesn't cut it. Now, if you don't think the series' box covers got progressively uglier, or if Carrie-Anne Moss got progressively uglier as well, then perhaps you should take a look at the series in general. The Matrix series got progressively worse. I'm sure you guys can agree. While something getting progressively 'worse' doesn't necessarily mean it's getting progressively 'uglier', it might as well be. However, if you think about it, the series basically went downhill kinda like the way something looks goes progressively downhill.
Anyway, the Matrix series definitely got progressively uglier.
