Ryoga looked around, wondering where he was. It took him several moments before he realized he was in Tokyo. However, this didn't look like the Tokyo he remembered. It looked like some kind of alternate universe. It was nearing midnight. He looked at the nanban mirror in his hands. Perhaps he should try again. Maybe the next time around, he would find himself back home in MegaTokyo, where Akane and the others would most likely be worried about him and wondering where he had been all this time. As he was about to shed a tear onto the mirror and wish himself back in his own world, a blur seemed to emerge from the bushes, heading straight toward him, forcing Ryoga to leap out of the way. Landing safely a few meters away, he caught sight of the blur in the clear moonlight shining down on it. It looked like some weird looking creature, like a harpy or some mythological creature. "Halt!!" Ryoga heard someone shout from behind him. It was a female voice. He turned around to face the person and was a bit surprised to see a young female with blond hair, two long ponytails dangling from the side. She was clad in a very short blue skirt and a white, tight fitting blouse. "Who are you?" he asked the young girl. He didn't know if she had told him to halt or that harpy looking monster behind him. Sailor Moon glanced at the young looking man standing before him for a moment before she realized that he wasn't the youma she had been chasing. She spotted the youma behind him and quickly shouted, "Lookout behind you!" Ryoga turned around toward the harpy looking creature just as it darted toward him, intending to absorb his next victim's energy so it could go another round with at annoying Sailor Moon. It lept right at Ryoga, digging, its claws in front, intent on digging into the poor victim's shoulders so it could absorb the energy from him. Unfortunately, the creature seemed to have underestimated its victim as it quickly realized the supposed victim had lightning fast reflexes, Ryoga shooting and arm out and grabbing the creature by one of its arms and shoulder throwing it over his back and onto the ground, hard. The creature simply poofed into nothing as the damage it sustained from the impact destroying it. Ryoga shielded his eyes as the creature seemed to disappear in a cloud of smoke, taking a step back. After a moment, he looked at the where the creature had once been and said, "Damn, what the hell was that?" Sailor Moon continued to stare at Ryoga in disbelief. She couldn't seem to believe what she had just seen. How in the world could a regular human rid this world of a youma using nothing but his bare hands?! It was incredible! Ryoga's eyes widened. On the ground were the remains of his broken nanban mirror. "Ah shit!" "You see that guy? He was the guy I was telling you about," Usagi said. She and her friends were walking down the street. It was the next day, a Sunday, sometime around five in the afternoon. Through shear luck, Usagi had managed to recognize that young man she had seen destroying that youma the other night. "Him?" Rei asked, not really believing her friend. She still believed Usagi had let that youma get away but was lying and said someone had destroyed it. "Yeah right. What are the chances?" "I'm telling you, it's him!" Usagi said, a bit annoyed. Ryoga looked around. This was indeed Japan. Where was not the problem. It was when. He figured he had arrived somewhere in Japane sometime before the turn of the millenium. That meant he was around thirty years behind the timeline he was from. "What do you think he's looking for?" Makoto asked her friends, "He looks like he's lost," "He looks like he's looking for something," Ami commented. Ryoga continued to look around. All he wanted to do was find out which way was west. He knew China was somewhere to the west of Japan. He needed to get to China because he needed a nanban mirror to get back home and China was probably his best chance. Oddly enough, it didn't seem to cross his mind once to ask someone or the fact that the sun was starting to set behind him. "What do you think we should do?" Minako asked. Luna, who was perched on Usagi's shoulder, said, "I think you should follow him. If he is indeed the person you said that supposedly defeated that youma, then he might not be human. He could be like one of us," "Why don't you guys ever believe me?" Usagi said, teary eyed, "You never believe me," She sniffed a couple of times. "Quit being such a baby," Rei snapped. She wished Usagi wasn't so damn sensitive with her feelings. "Waaaah, you yelled at me!" Usagi started crying, tears flowing down her cheeks. "I'll do more than yell at you if you don't be quiet!" Rei retorted, eyes creasing. Ryoga walked up to the group of girls. He didn't really know who they were, but he assumed that perhaps he could help. He had heard Usagi crying and had turned around and spotted her. He couldn't stand the sight of seeing a girl cry. It tore away at him. He reached into his pocket and took out a hankerchief, "Here," Usagi stopped her crying immediately as she realized the man had noticed their presence and was now standing before them. The girls just stared up at him. The young man was quite tall, standing even taller than Makoto. Ryoga's eyes widened, "Hey, I saw you before," "W-what? Y-you have?" Usagi studdered. "Yeah, you're that girl I saw last night," Ryoga said, sure of himself. "Yeah. You were that girl chasing that harpy looking creature that tried to attack me. Yeah, I'm sure of it," The girls stared up at Ryoga, absolutely shocked. How did he know that?
