Jeffrey "OneShot" Wong Just Won't Die Spinoff Ranma picked up the phone and said, "Hello, sushi express," Jun giggled, "Uncle Ranma, why do you say something like that?" "I dunno, why not? I guess it's because I don't like all those people calling asking me to switch phone services," he smiled, "Anyway, how are you doing? How's my favorite girl?" "Can we go on a date?" Jun asked innocently, "In pre-school, Billy told me people go on dates if they like each other. And since I really really like you, and you really really like me, let's go on a date," Ranma smiled "Of course. Where would you like to go?" He liked that. She was to the point and didn't beat around the bush. But then again, she didn't even know how to be subtle about anything since she was just a child. "Go? We go somewhere? Is that what going on a date is?" Ranma chuckled, "Of course, honey. Where would you like to go? How about dinner?" "Yea, I'm hungry," she piped up happily, "I'm going to tell mommy and daddy," "All right, you do that," he said warmly. Asuka was on her way down the stairs when she noticed Ranma on the phone. I wonder who he's talking to, she thought. She was about to ask who he was talking to but decided against it. It was none of her business anyway. "Mommy says it's okay," Jun said happily, "She and Daddy will bring me by," Just as Asuka was about to enter the kitchen, she heard Ranma speak into the receiver. "Don't worry about it. I'll come by and pick you up. From there, we can goto dinner," she heard "It'd no problem. I'll come over right now. Uh huh. Sure. I'll take you to the best restaurant in town. Sure. Okay, I'll be by in about ten minutes. Okay, bye," Ranma hung up the phone and headed upstairs to change into something nice. Asuka was leaning against the wall. She felt this anger rising within her. Who is Ranma going out with? Ranma came downstairs, dressed in a very nice outfit. It made him look even more devestatingly handsome. Shinji was on his way up the stairs when he saw Ranma. "R-Ranma," Shinji said, "Um, what's with the outfit? You going somewhere?" "Yeah, on a date," he replied, adjusting his cuffs, "Jun asked me out, and I'm obliging," "Jun? Oh, you mean Madigan and Carper's daughter?" Shinji asked. He remembered meeting Jun a long time ago. He remembered that she was a sweet girl and was very intelligent for a five year old. Ranma nodded, "Yep," Shrugging his shoulders, Shinji headed on up the stairs, "Well, please tell her I said hi," "I will," he said, He headed downstairs and went to the kitchen. Inside, she saw Rei and Akane. When the two girls saw him, they noticed how handsome he looked. They both seemed to eye him quite a bit. "How do I look?" he asked, doing a little turn. "You look handsome," Rei said softly. "Um, y-you look really nice," Akane stammered, "Um, where are you going?" Ranma smirked, "Out on a date," He walked over to the flower vase on the kitchen table and pulled out a flower and then left the room. He smiled to both girls before he left the room. Both girls looked at each other. A date? Asuka was on her way down the stairs when she caught sight of Ranma as he was putting his shoes on. She had just had an argument with Shinji upstairs a second ago. She had seen Ranma when he was having a chat with Shinji on the stairs but didn't know what they said. All she had heard was something about Ranma going on a date, but she didn't know with whom. When she asked Shinji what they had talked about, he had said that it was none of her business and went to his room. She took a deep breath and said, "Um, Ranma," Ranma did a little turn, allowing Asuka to get a good look at him, "How do I look?" "Um, v-very nice," she said. She swallowed the lump in her throat and said, "Um, can I ask you a question? "Yes," he said. He then turned around and left. "That wasn't the question!" Ranma knocked at the penthouse door of Madgian and Carper's penthouse at the exact time he had told Jun he would be there. The door opened to reveal a pleasantly dressed five-year old. "Are you ready for our date?" Ranma said with a warm smile. Madigan appeared by the doorway, "Ranma," "Consider this my gift to you," Ranma said with a smirk, "Go see a movie. Goto Dinner. I'll watch Jun tonight. I know how hard it is finding a good babysitter and all," "I'm a big girl, I don't need a babysitter," Jun piped, looking up. "Of course you are," Ranma chuckled. He took her hand, "Well, let's go have dinner," Before Madigan could say anything, Ranma and Jun headed down the corrido and toward the elevator that led down to the lobby. Madigan smiled, "Carper, honey, Ranma just took Jun. We have the house all to ourselves tonight," Carper emerged from the bedroom, "What? Ranma was already here?" "They just left," she said happily, turning toward Carper. "We have the whole house to ourselves," "We do? All to ourselves?" he asked, his eyes wide. She nodded. "You know what that means, ne?" he said, grinning. She nodded again and said, "Yes," In unison, they said, "We can finally catch up on sleep," Ritsuko knocked on the front door. Lisa and Misato were standing next to her. "Do you think they're home?" Misato asked. "If not, at least we know Ranma is," she replied, "Ranma never goes out," "That's good to hear," Lisa smirked, "That means he's still free," "For me," Misato added with a grin. The three girls giggled. Even though Ranma showed no interest toward any of them, they still liked the thought that they might still have a chance of capturing Ranma's heart. Akane answered the door. There was a weird look on her face. All three girls noticed. It was a look of shock. She didn't recognize the three girls for a short moment. When she did, she said, "Um, h-hi. What brings you by?" "We figured we'd all drop by after work," Ritsuko said, "We can all go have a night out on the town together. We rarely do that. How does dinner sound?" Shinji was on his way down the stair and was pleasantly surprised to see three familiar faces he hadn't seen in the past week, "Ah, Misato- san, Ritsuko-san, Lisa-san, what brings you here?" "We were wondering if we could all go out together," Misato said with a smile, "Perhaps all see a movie together. And then some dinner. Anything. It must get boring staying all cooped up in this house all the time. You never go out," Akane smirked, "And I'm pretty sure neither do you girls either," The three girls chuckled weakly. "Um, where's everyone else?" Lisa asked. Rei and Asuka rounded the corner. They both noticed the three arrivals and greeted them. Shinji, realizing that it was probably very boring hanging among a group of females as they chat, shrugged his shoulders and went upstairs to his room. After greeting each other, the three newcomers realized something. "Um, where's Ranma?" Misato asked, looking around the corner and down the corridor. Rei and Asuka and Akane became quiet all of a sudden. "He went on a date," Rei said softly. Sylia was closing up her shop when the phone rang. Sighing, she walked up to it and said, "Hello?" "Oh, you are at work, afterall," she heard Ritsuko's voice. "Um, I just wanted to call and say hi," Sylia and Ritsuko greeted each other. After a minute of chit chat, Sylia noticed there was something odd about Ritsuko and the way she was acting. "Um, is something the matter?" she asked. There was a moment of silent before Ritsuko said, "Um, is R-Ranma there?" "Ranma? No, he isn't here. Why would he?" Sylia asked, confused. There was no reason Ranma would be here in the first place. And why would Ritsuko ask something like that. "Um, it's just that....we heard Ranma was going....on a date," Ritsuko said. "And we didn't know who. Misato and Lisa and I are at Akane's and since Ranma isn't here, we thought he might be out on a date with you," Sylia blushed a bit. Her heart started racing a bit. Sylia and Ranma out on a date? That would be quite nice, she thought. She sighed and said, "As much as I'd like to say yes, but Ranma isn't here. I haven't heard of him in over a week," "Do you think Nene or Linna or Priss are out on a date with him?" Ritsuko asked. They better not, Sylia found herself thinking. Her grip on the reciever tightened. She was actually getting angry. She said, "I don't know," "Um, okay, I'm sorry I bother you," Ritsuko said. She and Sylia said goodbye and hung the phone up. Sylia stood in the middle of the shop for several minutes. She then picked the phone back up and dialed in Nene's work number. She knew that Nene was getting off work at any minute. Perhaps Ranma was going to pick Nene up right after work. "Hello, ADPolice. Nene speaking," "Nene, it's Sylia," "Oh, hello Sylia, how's everything going?" she said happily. "Um, is Ranma there?" she asked, getting to the point. "I wish," Nene replied. She sighed, "I wouldn't mind Ryoga being here too. Why?" Sylia said, "You mean he isn't there yet?" "H-he's on his way here? Why?" Nene gasped. Realizing that she had just jumped to conclusion, Sylia said, "Um, nevermind. It's just got a call from Ritsuko that Ranma had gone out on a date," "And you thought he was going on a date with me?" Nene asked, finishing up for her. She sighed, "As much as I wish that were true, Ranma and I aren't going out on a date tonight. Besides, I have to stay and do a double shift tonight. But, back to the subject, Ranma is out on a date?!" "Yes," "I'm going to call Linna," Nene replied. She didn't even say goodbye as she hung the phone up. Sylia looked at the receiver for a moment after the dialtone came up. Okay, she Ranma isn't date with Nene then, she thought. A moment later, she hung the receiver up and picked it back up, dialing in Priss' number. Ranma helped Jun up into her chair. Every single girl seemed to be watching the little girl enviously. "They're staring at us," Jun commented. Ranma smiled, "Don't worry about them. You're my date tonight." In the back corner of the restaurant, several girls are playing junken to see who got the honor of serving Ranma and the little girl he came with. "Uncle Ranma, can we do something else after dinner?" "Of course," Ranma said warmly, "We can do whatever you'd like," "I wanna goto a movie," she said. "All right, a movie it is," he said warmly. Linna picked up the phone, "Hello?" "You're at home," Nene said. "I know," she replied, "I'm so bored. I want to go out. I wish Ranma would take me out on a date or something," Nene's heart jumped for joy. Ranma wasn't going out with Linna. "So what's up?" Linna asked. "Um, nothing much," Nene said meekly. "Something's up," Linna said, "What's going on? Tell me," Nene sighed. She said, "Well, I just got a call from Sylia. She said that Ranma is out on a date with someone but she doesn't know who. I called you because I thought it you and he were going out," "I wish he and I were dating," Linna said, blushing a bit. She would love that. She would love to be seen with Ranma by her side. It would make every female envious of her. That was for sure. "Well, if you and Sylia aren't out with Ranma, and neither am I, what about Priss? What about Misato and Ritsuko? "I'm going to call Priss right now," Nene said. "I assume he isn't with Misato or Ritsuko because Ritsuko was the one that told Sylia in the first place. And they're at Ranma's house right now," "Well, if they're at Ranma's, then I'm going over there," Linna said, "Since I've got nothing to do, I might as well pay them a visit," "Fine," Nene said, "I've gotta stay and do a double shift. I'm going to call Priss. Give me a call if you find out anything on Ranma, okay?" "Okay," Linna said. She hung up the phone and immediately picked it back up. She dialed in Priss' number. "Hello?" came Priss' voice. "Priss, you're home," "That's the same thing Sylia said just a few seconds ago," Priss said, "She just called a minute ago," "What did she say?" Linna asked. "Something about Ranma going out on a date," came the reply. "Well, I have a question. If Ranma isn't on a date with any of us, then who is he out on a date with?" "I dunno, but I'm going to Ranma's house to see what's going on," Linna said. "I'll meet you there," Akane opened the door and was surprised to see Sylia and Linna and Priss. "Um, hello, what brings you hear?" she asked. "What do you think?" Linna said with a smirk, "We're interested in where Ranma went," "He went out on a date," Rei said softly. "We know that," Priss said, "But with whom?" All the girls were gathered in the little walkway. "Could she be with Nene?" Asuka asked, shocked that she would even ask something like that. It wasn't as if Asuka liked Ranma, right? Sylia shook her head, "No, she said she had a double shift tonight and will be staying extra late for work," Priss snapped her fingers, "Waitaminute, maybe she's using that as an excuse!" Every girl became suddenly silent, staring at one another. "I'm going to call her," Linna said, racing for the phone. Ranma was enjoying his meal. He opened his mouth as Jun placed a piece of meat in his mouth. "Delicious," he said, smiling when Jun giggled. "Is there anything else I can help you with?" the lucky waitress asked. She seemed to be hanging around Ranma's table much more than any other, glancing at him several times when he wasn't looking. He waved his hand, "We're both fine," "I want more chocolate milk," Jun said. Ranma smiled, "Okay." He turned toward the waitress, who blushed when their gazes met, and said, "Chocolate milk please," "She's in the bathroom," "Yeah right," Linna said, hanging the phone up. She had called and when someone else had answered she didn't believe the girl's reply when she had asked for Nene. She turned toward the group and said, "She isn't there. One of her co-workers said she was in the bathroom. Man, I have to hand it to her. Even though she's the shyest here, she sure is slyest," Priss was already on her way out the front door, "I'm going to pay her a little visit," Meanwhile, back at ADPolice headquarters, Nene walked up to her console. "Thanks for taking over for me, Noriko," Nene said with a smile, "I guess I shouldn't've drank all that juice earlier," Noriko smiled, "No problem," Ranma and Jun, both finished with their meal, were on their way to the movie theater. "What kinda movie do you wanna see?" he asked. "A cartoon," she said happily, jumping up and down, one hand in Ranma's, almost threatening to dislocate his shoulder. "Sure thing," he smiled. Together, Ranma and Jun walked hand in had toward the the theater when all of a sudden, a mortorcyclist went zooming by them at high speeds, the engine redlining. Jun was forced to remove her hand from Ranma's to cover her ears. Ranma watched Priss as she raced by "That was Priss," he said. "That was?" Jun asked, "She went by pretty fast," "She must be in a hurry to get somewhere fast," Ranma turned toward the little girl, taking her hand in his again, "I don't think she even noticed us," They walked down the street for two blocks until they came up to the theater. Ranma paid for the ticket and they both went in. Just as they disappeared through the front entrance, a truck that had 'Silky Doll' on the side went racing by. Priss arrived at ADPolice Headquarters in record time, even outrunning Leon when he had caught sight of her and tried to pull her over. She knew that he wouldn't give her a ticket, but rather stop her so he could talk to her or perhaps ask her out. Skidding her motorcycle to a halt, she placed her helmet on the handlebars and headed into the building. Several minutes after that, a 'Silky doll' truck full of women pulled up in front of the building. Several of the male police loitering in front of the building eyed the group of women quite fondly. They all headed into the building also. "Where's Nene?" Priss asked the counter girl, slamming her hand into the table top for emphasis. "She's at her console," the girl said meekly. Although she was about the same build as Priss, she had the funny feeling that Priss would wipe the floor with her. Besides, Priss looked angry. "Page her then, um, I have to talk to her and fast," Priss said. "Is it an emergency?" the girl asked. Priss nodded, "Yeah. She's with Ranma!!" "Ranma?" the girl asked, "You mean Ranma Saotome?" "How do you know? Did he come here?" Priss snapped. The girl shook her head, holding her hand up defensively. She had heard of Ranma Saotome. Who hasn't? He was only considered MegaTokyo's most eligible bachelor. Besides, he had stopped by here on several occasions just to drop in on Nene and it seemed to make the entire female half of the Headquarters on edge, and envious of Nene. The girl said, "No, he didn't come here. I was here all day and I never saw him walk by," "I don't care, page her anyway!" Priss nearly shouted. The girl picked up the phone to page Nene. If Ranma was indeed with Nene, then it was a good enough reason to interrupt her because she was jealous. Sure, Nene's private life was none of her business, but the thought of someone like Ranma with a girl like Nene got her angry. Nene was a clutz, how could she get Ranma? "Nene Romanova, please come to the front counter," Sylia and the other girls entered the building just as they saw Priss and Nene arguing. "No! Ranma isn't here!" Nene retorted. "Why on Earth do you think he's here anyway?! Heck, even if he is here, it's none of your business!" "Ooh, catfight," a male officer said, smirking, watching. The girls turned toward him and his male co-workers and glared at them. The males quickly cowered under their stare and proceeded to pay attention toward something else, like the beautiful painting that was hanging on the wall. Of course, they had no idea what the hell kind of painting it was. The girls walked up to Nene and Priss as they continued to argue, Priss on the losing end of the argument. "You mean he isn't here?" Priss asked, "But I thought-" "No, he isn't here!" she interrupted. "So, if Ranma isn't here, then where is he? Who's he out with?" Asuka asked, trying to sound uninterested. Even though she kept a cool fascade and acting uninterested in Ranma's whereabouts, it was tearing her apart inside. "He might be at Madigan's," Rei said softly. "Yeah," Lisa said, "Let's head there," Priss swore and ran out of the building. "How dare she have an affair with my Ranma!" she muttered, loud enough that the group of grils have heard. "Your Ranma?!" they all seemed to shout. Everyone followed after Priss and out the building All the male officers seemed disappointed. "Damn, no catfight," Shinji picked up the phone. "Hello?" "Hey, Shinji, it's me," he heard Ranma's voice, "I just wanted to call home and let everyone know that I'll be back later. Jun and I are at the movies right now," "All right, have fun," Shinji said, "I'll let everyone know when they get back," "Get back? You mean they went out?" Shinji said, "Yeah. I was upstairs in my room when I heard the phone ring. When I came down, I noticed no one was home except me," "Well, I just wanted to call to let someone know," he said, "Hold on one second," Jun was tugging at Ranma's pant leg, "Uncle Ranma, I wanna goto the amusement park after the," He smiled, "Sure thing, honey," He brought the receiver to his ear and said, "Shinji, after the movie, Jun and I are gonna goto the amusement park," "All right, have fun," he said. They said goodbye and hung up. Carper answered the door. His hair was mussed and he was shirtless. He was in a half daze, having to wake up to answered the door. After the doorbell rung for a forth time, Madigan struck him with the pillow and told him to answer the damn door before she went back to sleep. "Put your shirt on," Priss said, barging into the penthouse, nearly running over Carper as she entered. A second later, the rest of the group of girls entered. "We don't know where Ranma is and we-" Priss continued on. Madigan, still in that sleepy stupor of hers, clad in a night gown, emerged into the hallway, "What's going on?" "M-Madigan! Y-you're home!" Linna said, suprised. The other girls were suprised too. The first thing that entered their minds was something they didn't believe. "Oh my god, a menage a trois!" Misato said, realizing what was going on. Carper was shirtless, Madigan was in her night gown. "Ranma must be in the bedroom!" Everyone headed for the bedroom. They barged into the bedroom, intent on killing Ranma, but was shocked to find the bedroom completely empty. They all turned toward Madigan and Carper, who were both very much awake and giving them glares. "What's going on here?" Madigan asked, hand on her hip. All the girls seemed to blush, realizing how horrible a mistake they had done. "What are you talking about? I heard you mention something about a threesome," Madigan said. "Um, nothing, w-we just thought Ranma was here," Misato said. "What?! Ranma's here?!" Carper said. He turned toward Madigan, "Y- you're seeing Ranma?!" Madigan held her hand up, "N-no, honey! Of course not!" She turned toward the girls, "What's the meaning of this? You go on putting absurd idea in my husband's head about me and Ranma!" The girls, realizing they had made yet another mistake, blushed even more. They all said in unison, "Gomen, we'll leave," "Yes, now!" Carper and Madigan said. "Hello, ADPolice Headquarters, Nene speaking," "Nene, we can't find Ranma," she heard Misato's voice, "Can you send out a search party for him?" "W-what? I-I can't do that!" Nene replied, "I could get in deep trouble if they find out!" Misato sighed, "I know. It was worth a try. Anyway, we're calling from the lobby of Madigan and Carper's building and we have no idea where Ranma is and the girl he's gone out on a date with," Nene's grip on the reciver tightened a bit. If Ranma wasn't with Madigan, then who is he with, she thought. "Um, s-shouldn't you just leave him alone?" Nene said, trying to keep her voice calm, "I-I mean, Ranma is his own person. H-he could do what he wants," "Yes, he could! But we don't want him to!" Misato replied. "If he's going to date someone, why can't it be one of us?! It's tearing me apart that I don't know who this girl he's seeing" Misato realized she shouldn't have said that aloud. She cleared her throat, "Um, I'm sorry I bothered you, bye," "Um, bye," Nene said before hanging the phone up. For several minutes, she looked at her console, damning the fact that she had to work a double shift. After a moment of contemplation, she picked up her dispatch radio. "Be on the look out for a man, believed to be in his mid twenties. Description, a red shirt and black jogging pants, has short black hair tied into a pig-tail...." "So, didja like the movie?" Jun shouted happily, "Yeah. I loved it. I wanna see it again another day," "Dontcha think it was kinda short? I mean, it wasn't even an hour and a half long?" he asked, scratching the back of his head, "I always thought movies were around two hours long," "That's because it's a cartoon, Uncle Ranma," Jun said, "Cartoon movies are always shorter," Ranma smiled, "You're right." He took her hand in his, "Gee, you're a very smart girl. I'm lucky I have you around to teach all this cool and interesting stuff," Jun giggled, "Yeah. Where would you be without me?" A cop car pulled up right next to them as they both walked. Leon emerged from the car, smiling, "Well well well, if it isn't Ranma. How are you doing?" "Oh, hey Leon," Ranma smiled, walking up to the cop car, "What's up?" Leon smirked as he noticed little Jun, "Out on a date?" Jun hugged Ranma's leg, "He's my date tonight. You can't have him," Ranma and Leon chuckled. Aftera moment, Leon's visage became a bit more serious. He said, "Guess what? I've received a call from headquarters that seemed to discribe you to a T." "Really?" Leon nodded, "Well, the only difference was this it discribed someone that looked like you but was wearing a red shirt and black pants. You, you're wearing a rather formal attire there," "That's because we're on a date," Jun added. Ranma said, "Well, I usually wear a red shirt and black pants. Perhaps it was describing me. But then again, I didn't wear that outfit today, I was home all day until Jun here called me and asked me out. Anyway, you want us to come with you to the station?" Leon shook his head, "Nah. No need. I'm pretty sure they mean someone else. Besides, I wouldn't want to ruining your lovely date," Jun glared at Leon, "If you do, I'm gonna kick you in the shin," Ranma chuckled. Leon smiled warmly, "Well, I wouldn't want that to happen, now would I? Anyway, it was nice seeing you two again, you should come swing by town more often," "I will," "Um, have you seen Priss around?" Leon asked after a moment of hesitation. Ranma nodded, "Yeah. I saw her while we were on our way to the movies. She was on her motorcycle and seemed to be heading somewhere fast. She didn't see me though, at least I don't think so," "I saw her on her bike also," he said, "I wonder where she was headed off to?" "Perhaps to your apartment to ask you out on a date," Ranma replied with a joking smirk. "Really?" Sylia and the others met up again for the third time in front of ADPolice Headquarters. They had chosen that building as a meeting grounds, meeting there every ten minutes after everyone had split up into groups of two to fan the city for Ranma and that girl he was with, a girl that the entire group grew to hate more and more with every passing minute. "Any luck?" Sylia asked. Lisa shook her head, "Nothing. Where could they be?" Linna looked like he was about to cry, "Where could he be?" "We have to find 'em and fast," Misato said, "If we don't, that girl, whoever she is, will bring Ranma home with him and.....and....they will-" Her eyes started to tear watery. "They wouldn't.....would they?" Akane asked, blushing a bit. "They better not," Priss said, cracking her knuckles, "If that girl knows what's good for her, she'll know Ranma belongs to me! I want to be his first!!!" "You?!? Since when has he belonged to you?! And what the hell do you mean by his 'first'?" Linna asked. "Ranma's a virgin," Priss said. "H-he is?" Sylia said, shock in her voice. All off a sudden, she found herself loving Ranma even more. "He has to be," Priss assumed. "I've never seen him with a woman before. He must be one," "If he is, then I want to be his first!" Asuka shouted. Everyone turned and looked at Asuka. "W-what did you say, Asuka?" they all said. They had no idea that Asuka liked him. Asuka blushed beet red. She looked down at the ground. She wasn't supposed to have said that aloud. She meekly said, "I-I was only joking around. D-don't take everything so serioulsy. I h-hate Ranma. He's an asshole," "Why are you making him out to be the perfect male?" Rei asked everyone softly, "Are you making him out to be a virgin because you believe he is the perfect male and thus, believe a virginal version of him is much better?" Misato peeked an eye brow, "Perhaps. What about you Rei? Do you believe he's a virgin?" Rei blushed. "I don't know," she said, "He might be. I believe he is," "That can't be possible," Ritsuko said, "You know how old he is? He has to have gone all the way at least once," She really wanted to believe he was a virgin. Sure, on several occasions, Ranma had been subtly asked as to whether or not he was a virgin, but he dodged the question. Perhaps it was because he was either shy about telling everyone he was a virgin, or scared that everyone would get angry when he said he wasn't. "I don't really care if he's a virgin or not," Lisa said, "I would sleep with him regardless of that," "Lisa!!!! Asuka and Rei are around!!!" Akane shouted, getting angry. She didn't know if she was getting angry at Lisa saying that in front of the two children or knowing that Lisa was probably speaking on behalf of all the females in the group. Sylia, realizing it was useless speculating on whether or not Ranma had slept with someone, said, "I'm going to the movie theater, they could be there," "We're coming with you," "You see, it's men like that that make's me wish I wasn't married," the middle aged woman said to her twin sister. They had been at the movies and had caught sight of Ranma while he had been talking to a police officer. "That's girl he was with, do you think she was his daughter?" the sister asked. "I don't know," she replied. "She's a very beautiful girl though. She's going to be quite beautiful when she grows up," Sylia, breathing slightly heavy from jogging the whole way, walked up to the twins and said, "Excuse me, but is there any chance that you have seen a very handsome man with short black hair that is tied in a pig- tail around here?" Both twin's looked at Sylia curiously. One of them nodded, "I think so. He was with a very pretty girl. I think they were both headed for the amusement park." "G-girl? Did you get a good look at her?" she asked. They both nodded. The other twin said, "Yes. We got a good look at her. She's a very beautiful girl. She had long brown hair. Beautiful eyes. Happy demeanor. Like a ray of sunshine," Sylia gritted her teeth. She turned around and headed for the amusement park. Moments later, a group of girls rushed passed the two twins, following after Sylia. The twins turned toward each other. "They probably have crushes on that young fellow," Ranma had his head in the trash receptical. "Ugh, I can't believe I got sick riding the merry go round," Ranma muttered, pulling his head out. "Maybe it would've been better if we came here first before we ate," Jun looked at the ground, "I'm sorry, Uncle Ranma, I didn't know it was going to make you sick." "I'm not used to this stuff, that's all," Ranma replied weakly. "Don't worry, I'll get used to it," "Well, since you get sick on the rides, how about we do something else?" she asked. "Like where?" "Can we goto your house," Jun said, "I saw a jig saw puzzle at your house and wanna try it out," Ranma smiled and said, "Sure," He took Jun's hand and they proceeded toward Ranma's place. Sylia and the others arrived at the amusement park and quickly fanned out for Ranma and his date. They went through every inch of the amusement park, coming up with nothing. They all met up at the merry go round after roughly fifteen minutes of searching. "Did you see him?" Lisa asked. They all shook their heads. "Argh, I'm going to rip my hair out!!!" Linna shouted, "Who's that girl he's with? How beautiful is she? What's she look like, Sylia?" Sylia shrugged her shoulders, "I really don't know. Those ladies in front of the theater said she was very pretty and had long brown hair and a happy demeanor. That's all they said." Even though she didn't really show it, she was dying to know who this girl was. Priss walked up to the nearest beautiful brunetted and grabbed her, "You, where's Ranma?" "E-excuse me?" the young girl said, a bit shocked. "Who's Ranma?" Is it Ranma Saotome, the girl thought. She had heard that there was a man named Ranma Saotome the resided in MegaTokyo and he was considered the sexiest bachelor among the female community. If that woman was looking for Ranma, perhaps Ranma might be here. Priss released the girl and said, "I'm sorry. I'm just a little on edge," She quickly ran off, hoping to find her female friends and to tell them of the good news, that Ranma might be in the area. The group was looking at Priss. "You're out of your mind, Priss," Linna said with a smirk. "You're really losing it," "Where is he? Who's that girl he's with?!" she shouted, "I'm going to kill her!!! Ranma's mine!!!" "No he isn't!!!" everyone seemed to say. Shinji opened the dorry and was a bit shocked to see Ranma and Jun. "Oh, Ranma, Jun, you're back," he said, "I thought you two were going to the amusment park after the movie," Ranma nodded, "Yeah, we went to the amusment park but didn't stay long. I got sick on the merry go round," Shinji chuckled and peeked an eyebrow, "The merry go round?" "Hey, it kept going round and round and it got me dizzy," Ranma replied. "You try and go on that after a hearty meal. I betcha you won't be able to last long!" "But I didn't get sick," Jun said, looking up. Ranma was silent. Shinji laughed aloud. "Um, Shinji, do you know where the jig saw puzzle is?" he asked, "Jun and I wanna put it together," Shinji nodded, "Yeah, I'll go get it," He went upstairs to fetch the box that contained all the pieces from out fo the attic. He came back down a few minutes later. Jun was sitting on the couch watching television, Ranma was languidly lying on an adject couch, looking up at the ceiling, seemingly spent. "You okay, Ranma?" Shinji asked. "Ugh," he moaned. "That meal and that merry go round isn't a good combination. No, don't say anything, Jun. I'm old. My body ain't used to something like that. That gives me a reason to complain," Jun opened the box and dumped the contents of the box on the table. She looked up at Shinji, "Shinji, are you going to help out?" He smiled and said, "I'm not doing anything. Sure, why not?" Ranma got up and headed upstairs, "I'm gonna go upstairs and get changed," "Okay," Jun said with a happy smile. A minute after Ranma disappeared upstairs, the front door opened and in entered all the girls, minus Nene. Aside from Rei, they all seemed seriously peeved. "Hey," Shinji said, smiling. "Where did all of you go off to?" "It's none of your business, Shinji!" Asuka shouted, venting her anger out at him. She hated boys. And after what she had gone through tonight was a good reason why to hate the males species all together. Not really caring whether or not and the reasons why Asuka was angry at him, Shinji shrugged his shoulders and went about helping Jun with her jig saw puzzle. "Um, w-where did Jun come from?" Ritsuko asked, noticing the five year old girl sitting next to Shinji. "I came from mommy and daddy," Jun replied innocently. Everyone laughed. Ritsuko pouted silently, outsmarted by a five year old child. Ranma came down the stairs, clad in his usual attire, a red shirt and black pants. He entered the livingroom and noticed all the girls staring at him, like he had appeared out of nowhere. He sat down on the couch and proceeded to help Jun and Shinji with the puzzle. "Where have you been?!" Asuka asked coldly. "What are you, my mother?" Ranma replied, "I went out," "On a date!?" Linna added, her hand on her hips. All girls had their hands on their hips as they glared at him. It provided quite the awkward situation for him. It didn't seem to bother him one bit. Shinji didn't know what was going on but knew it was not the time to make eye contact with them. Ranma nodded, "Yeah. I went out on a date with Jun," "Y-you did?" everyone asked in unison. It took several minutes before they realized they had just spent their Friday night searching for Ranma while he went out on a date with a five year old girl Ranma smiled at the girls, "How did you spend your Friday night?" Every girl blushed. Jun had her arm wrapped around Ranma's neck as he held her piggy-back ride as Ranma spoke into the phone. "Hello?" Madigan said. "Hey, it's me, Ranma," he said, "Um, I just wanted to call you lettcha know that Jun wants to sleep over." "Well, I see no harm in that," Madigan replied, "Sure, why not? She hasn't seen you in a long time and probably misses you," Ranma smiled, "All right. She's gonna be thrilled," They both said goobye and hung up. Ranma turned said, "Guess what, Jun? Your mom says it's all right to sleep over," "Yeah, a sleep over," Jun said happily, innocently, "I'm so happy. We can sleep together," Ranma chuckled, "Sure thing, kiddo. I've got plenty of room in my futon for the both of us," He carried Jun with him into the livingroom where all the girls were. Shinji was nowhere around, having gone to him room because having so many pretty girls in the same room with him made him nervous. On the coffee table In the middle of the room, a fully solved jigsaw puzzle could be seen. All the girls were silent, seemingly paying attention toward anything but Ranma. They didn't want to risk Ranma getting curious and actually asking them what they had been doing while he and Jun were out that night. They were very very grateful that Ranma didn't bother asking and dropping it right there. They were glad Ranma had no idea how they spent their Friday night. "Ranma," Jun said. All the girls looked up and at the lucky little girl as Ranma carried her piggyback style. "Hm?" "I like the way your hair smells," she said honestly, "It smells like strawberry," All the girls that have heard that seemed to grit their teeth. They never knew that. "I ran outta my usually shampoo," Ranma replied, "I ended up using Shinji's," "I like it. You smell nice," she replied, snuggling her head up against Ranma's. Ranma smiled, "Thank you. And I like you too," "Will you marry me?" she asked. Every girl in the room looked up at Jun, almost glaring at her. She didn't seem to notice and neither did Ranma. They watched in envy as he replied in a soft warm voice, "Of course I'll marry you. You're my favorite girl in the whole wide world," "Do you luv me?" she giggled. Ranma flipped Jun around and held her in his arms, looking into her eyes, "Of course I love you," Priss stood up, fuming. She was about to start spewing every profanity she had learned when she realized that she was now deathly jealous of a little girl. She twitched a bit, pretended she was smothing out her jeans of its wrinkles and sat back down. She's only a little girl, Priss though, biting her lower lip. All the girls were silent. They couldn't understand how someone could ask something like that without being scared or nervous. For some reason, if Ranma's back wasn't toward the group of girls, he would have seen this blue arua of tension surrounding the room, all the girls seemingly glaring at Jun, envious of her. "I wanna big wedding," Jun continued. "I want a big big cake, a cake bigger than me," Ranma smiled, "Sure. The bigger wedding, the better." He placed Jun down on the group and held her hand as they made their way toward the backdoor. "We can invite everybody," Jun said as she and Ranma stepped out into the backyard, "I'll invite all my friends from pre school and my mommy and my daddy and my grandparents. With you, since you have no mommy or daddy or grandparents, we can invite all your friends," All the girls, gasped as they heard that. As they all stood by the window, they couldn't believe she would say something like that. Sure, that would upset Ranma. That was so cold of her, to mention Ranma's past, and how he had no parents and no relatives. Ranma smiled, unperterbed "Well, Jun, since I have no mommy and no daddy, when I marry you, your mommy and daddy will also become mine," Jun yawned a bit. "It's getting late," Ranma said warmly, "You better go on and take a bath so you can get ready to goto sleep," "Are you going to take a bath with me?" "That's it!" Priss said. She headed for the back door, "I'm gonna kill that little girl!" She was so jealous she was seeing red. Sylia and Akane, both nearest to her, lunged and grabbed Priss, bringing her down to the floor with them. "She won't get away with this!" Priss said, only to have Akane cover her mouth with her hand. Linna headed for the back door, "I'm gonna put a stop to this. She doesn't deserve my Ranma. She's too young. She should marry someone her own age," "Your Ranma?!" Ritsuko and Misato said. "Since when was he yours?" Ranma entered the house again, holding Jun's hand. He looked at the group of girls, noticing Akane and Sylia and Priss lying on the floor. He shurgged his shoulders and turned toward Jun, who couldn't understand the adult females' odd behavior, "Don't worry, Jun. They're always this weird," "We are not!" Lisa said. "Its just that we're all jealou-" Asuka lunged for Lisa, placing a hand on Lisa's mouth, preventing her from finishing her sentence. Lisa's eyes widened for a moment when she realized she had also blabbed the whole situation away. She gave a weak grin after Asuka reluctantly removed her hand away. Jun grabbed Ranma's leg, her head pressed against his thigh and said "Don't think you're going to get my Ranma! He's mine! Go find your own husband!" "What?!?" all the girls said at once, shocked, embarrassed, humiliated, and consfused at the same time. "W-w-what m-makes you think we want Ranma anyway?" Asuka retorted, the first one to compose herself. "Good, then I can have Ranma all to myself," Jun replied, sticking her tongue out. Asuka, filled with jealousy, used all her willpower to remain calm. Her right eye lid seemed to twitch a bit, but her fascade seemed somewhat unreadable. "G-go ahead. Y-you can have him," Ranma regard Asuka oddly. He then looked at the other girls, who were all blushing a terrible shade of red, "Um, what's going on here? Why are all of you guys acting stranger than usual?" "C'mon, Ranma, let's go take a bath," Jun said, half dragging Ranma toward the bathroom. Ranma shrugged his shoulder and followed after her. "Y-y-you're g-going to take a bath with Jun?" Misato said, a blush coming over her face. Ranma ignored her and followed Jun around the corner and into the changing room. All the girls stood there, in the hallway, for several minutes, all of the shocked, unable to comprehend all the thoughts running through their minds. "J-Jun a-and Ranma are going to...to.." Linna stammered. All the girls looked at each other and then quickly ran around the corner and opened the door to the changing room. Lisa and Priss were the first to enter, the rest of the girls following behind. Priss looked over at the laundry basket and saw Jun's dress. She saw Ranma's clothes in there also. "I'll kill her!" Priss sputtered. She opened the door to the bathroom, expecting to see both Ranma and Jun together in the bathtub, too jealous and angry to realize what she was doing until after the door slid open. Near the back of the bathroom, Ranma's shirtless back toward her, Priss realized Ranma wasn't naked. He had his pants on. In front of him was Jun. It seems Ranma had been washing Jun's back as she splashed the bucket of water about, some water splashing on him. Ranma turned his head and saw Priss. Moments after that, he saw Lisa, and then Linna, and then the rest of the girls as they squeezed through the door, hoping to catch a glimpse of a naked Ranma. His eyes narrowed as he realized what was going on. He turned toward the bucket of water Jun had been playing with and picked it up. He turned back toward the girls, all of them seemingly staring at Ranma like a deer caught looking into oncoming headlights, and shouted, "Get out! You perverts!" He threw the contents of the bucket in the girls' direction, soaking each and everyone of them with the warm water that had originally been in the bucket. All the girls quickly turned around and ran out of the bathroom and out of the changing room. "Sheesh," Ranma muttered, "I can't believe it, they're all a buncha peeping toms," He turned back toward Jun and noticed her looking up at him. He smiled as he said, "Don't worry about them. They're all weird," He got up and walked toward the changing room. He stepped out into the hallway where he saw all the girls arguing with one another about who's fault it was. When they all saw him, whom happened to be shirtless and glistening from the water, they just looked at him, staring, not knowing what to do or say. His eyes narrowed, "I hope you all have a good reason for walking in on me and Jun," He crossed his hands over his chest. "All of you have been acting weird tonight. Why?" All the girls were silent. Ranma looked at Sylia, "Well, Sylia? What do you have to say?" She blushed and looked away. Ranma turned toward another random person, Linna. Linna had been staring but when she realized Ranma was looking at her, she quickly turned her attention toward him, laughed weakly, "L-look at the t-time, I must be going now," Ranma reached a hand out and grabbed the back of her shirt before she could make a break for it, "Oh no you don't. You are staying right here. All of you are until you tell me what's going on," All the girls were silent. They all wondered if they could all make a break for it. Ranma couldn't stop all of them from running away, could he? But then again, Ranma was very capable of doing many things. It was best not to find out because it would make him even more suspicious. "Well? I'm waiting," "We t-thought we saw a rat run into the bathroom," Linna lied. She didn't make eye contact, knowing Ranma can simply tell if she was lying or not by the subtle changes in her pupils. "W-we were worried," "Yeah, whatever you say," he smirked, "Like I'm gonna believe something like that. Okay, if a rat ran into the bathroom, why did all of you come?" "A better chance of catching it?" Lisa asked. Realizing she had been saying that in a question for, she quickly cleared her throat and said, "Um, because it gave us a better chance of catching it," "So why did I hear Priss say, 'I'll kill her' right before she entered the bathroom?" "B-because the rat was female," Asuka said nervously Ranma smirked, "And how didja know that?" "B-b-because I own that r-rat," Ritsuko said. Ranma's eyes narrowed, "Why would you own a rat? You only like cats," "It's actually my rat," Sylia said, daring not to make eye contact. "And why would Ritsuko have the rat in the first place?" "S-Sylia gave it to her as a present," Akane said, "Her cats were hungry," "She don't own any cats," Ranma smirked, "She only collect items pertaining to cats," "Because I bought her a cat yesterday," Priss answered. "From where? The pet store? The pet store is closed on Thurdays," Ranma said. "S-she got the cat from the pound," Linna said, smiling weakly. "The pound, huh?" he smirked. "Yes!" all the girls said in unison. Ranma smirked, gazing at every girl, noticing that they didn't make eye contact with him. He said, "Lettme get this straight, Priss bought a cat at the pound yesterday for Ritsuko. And Sylia wanted to give Ritsuko her rat to feed that cat, right?" They all nodded. "So why was the rat here in the first place?" he smiled. He knew this could go on forever. "Um, we wanted you to see it," Misato chuckled. "How come you didn't show me the rat earlier? I was home. You were all here. And why would you show me a rat anyway? It's food for Ritsuko's cat, ne?" he asked, grinning. "The rat was sleeping," Rei said softly, quiet until now. Everyone looked at Rei, giving her and odd look. Her expression didn't change. Ranma said, "So why didn't you wake the rat up?" "Um, b-because we fed it some sleeping pills," Misato said. "Why would you feed it sleeping pills?" "I-it had insomnia," Asuka said. "Why would it have insomnia?" "Because it ate some food," Sylia said, "We wanted to make the rat fat so it would be a better meal for the cat that Linna bought for Ritsuko," Ranma peeked an eye brow, "That's strange, I could have sworn Priss was the one that bought Ritsuko the cat," Sylia chuckled weakly, "Um, er," "Linna was the one that gave Priss the money for the cat," Lisa said quickly. "Priss was the one that actually got the cat, but it was with Linna's money," Ranma chuckled, "But you got the cat from a pound. The pound gives animals away for free," "Um, n-not that pound," Akane said, "I-it charges money for their animals," "What's the name of this pound? Maybe I should report them," "Um, it doesn't h-have a name," Priss said. At that moment, Jun emerged from the changing room, fully dressed. "I'm done with my bath, let's goto sleep," Ranma said, "All right, Jun. I'll be with you in a minute. Just wait for me in my room, okay?" "Okay," she said happily before walking passed the nervous girls, soon heading upstairs and into Ranma's bedroom. Ranma turned back toward the girls again, "Where were we?" The girls were silent. Ranma shrugged his shoulders and walked passed the girls, "Well, I'm going to sleep," The girls somehow, without even realizing, were slowly following after Ranma. He turned toward them, a big smirk on his lips. "Um, don't you have a rat to look for?" "What rat?" they all asked, confused. It wasn't until after they said that did they realize their mistake. Ranma laughed and went upstairs, leaving behind several very embarrassed girls, but not before he said... "I assume you had fun spending your Friday night chasing after me and imaginary rats,"
