Jeffrey "OneShot" Wong Just Won't Die 1: The boomer that just won't die The fic starts off with a rather extreme misunderstanding. Ranma, now much older, had returned to Japan after having been away on a lone training trip for several decades. The reason for this gets to be revealed later on. It turns out that Ranma's life had been destroyed when rampaging boomers had destroyed his town, the incident named 'Nerima Massacre', so many years ago. Coming back to Japan, Ranma wanted to seek vengance for his friends and family's death and destroy Genom which ever way possible. All that is known is that Ranma has an extreme hatred toward boomers and is hell bent on destroying them. The misunderstanding happens when Ranma mistakens the Knight Sabers for boomers and start attacking them with every intent to destroy. The Knight Sabers mistaken Ranma for a boomer since no human could be so damn powerful. It didn't help that Ranma's battle aura prevent the Knight Sabers' sensors from realizing he was human. They fight in the slums, the unofficial name of the atifical island Genom had built to test out prototype boomers. Although the Knight Sabers manage to fight off Ranma's attack pretty well in the beginning, Ranma soon overwhelms all four of them and manages to seriously hurt Sylia, break several of Priss' ribs, break Linna's ankle, and utterly destroy Nene's hardsuit. The only thing bad that happened to him was that he had gotten his shoulder disloated. Before long, Ranma and the Knight Sabers realize they are both human. Unable to really do much, the Knight Sabers had to accept Ranma and his knowledge of their secret identities. The find out they had both been in the same place at the wrong time. Ranma had been waiting in the slums because he had somehow found out there was going to be a prototype boomer training and had wanted to destory it, to hit Genom where it hurt. Knight Sabers had a similar motive for being there. Unfortunately, they had mistakened each other for boomers. When the prototype boomers finally show up, only Ranma is able to fight them since he had pretty much taken out the Knight Sabers team. They part after Ranma escorts them to a nearby hospital, promising them not to reveal their identies. The Knight Sabers had nothing they could do except hope so. Madigan and Carper, who is Madigan's personal assistant, must deal with the presence of a new superboomer they assumed the Knight Sabers had created when Genom's prototype boomers were destroyed somewhere over the slum. Too bad they weren't aware that the superboomer was a man named Ranma. Realizing that Genom's going to be in trouble, Later on in the fic, rampaging boomers emerge and the Knight Sabers must fight them. Little do they know was that it was all a ruse to get Ranma to show up, so Genom could assess the superboomer they were dealing with. After overpowering the Knight Sabers in shear firepower and numbers, the boomers end up getting dispathed easily when Ranma shows up. After the fight, Carper explains to Madigan on the assessment on the superboomer. They rated it somewhere along the lines of 23-A boomer, the number representing power output, the letter representing revision type. That's high when they consider the Knight Sabers at around 6-A or 6-B if they were boomers. Although daunted of her task at hand of getting rid of that superboomer, Madigan is told by Carper that there exists someone capable of actully fighting the superboomer and that he's human. His name was Ryoga Hibiki. Unfortunately, they had to find him. Ryoga shows up in Japan after a decades long training trip, looking to destroy Genom also. He and Ranma meet. Pretty soon, a massive battle between them errupt. Buildings after buidling are destoryed by this. It seems Ryoga is intent on killing Ranma because Ranma hadn't been able to save Akane from the Nerima Massacre. After a while, they realize they had a common enemy, Genom. Although they didn't like it, they befriend each other for the time being. It doesn't last long when Ryoga attempts to shoot a ki-blast toward Genom Tower and Ranma is forced to jump in front of the ki-blast because the falling debris from Genom Tower would easily had killed hundreds. Ryoga's ki-blasts prove too powerful for both Ranma and Ryoga because they were knocked unconsious from the blast that engulfed them. Ranma and Ryoga wake up in hospital beds and realize that the ended up sharing the same hospital room. Pretty soon, they start fighting, nearly destorying the whole hospital. Wanting to keep tabs on Ranma and Ryoga, whom the Knight Sabers soon find out was human, they find out they shared the same hospital room. Nene was the closest so she had the task of getting there and seperating them before it was too late. When she arrives, Ranma and Ryoga are already in heated battle. She ends up getting saved from falling debris by Ranma when a stray ki- blast destroys a building near her. That was when Ryoga and Ranma realize they had to stop fighting once and for all. They were just too powerful. When the Knight Sabers finally arrive, Ranma and Ryoga manage to leave the area unseen. Of course, they had been in their cursed form. Because of the damage they have cause, Ranma and Ryoga team up and goto Genom and steal some money. Talk about your ethically challenged heroes. Before they set off to rob Genom, Ranma shows Ryoga a special technique he had developed, the 'seppukku' version of his ki-blast. Unfortunately, Ranma accidentally destroys half the slums showing this. We find out that Ryoga has a similar technique. Ranma and Ryoga end up meeting Sylia as she was finishing with her work at the Silky Doll. She actually allows Ranma and Ryoga to stay at her place when Ranma swallows his pride and asks. She wanted to know more about them. She ends up finding out about Ranma and Ryoga having known each other from long time ago and them both hating Genom. It seems the Knight Sabers have yet another ally now, including Ranma. In the morning, Ranma and Ryoga are gone, having left to goto Genom to steal some money. They easily fight past Genom's defenses and steal a huge sum of cash. Not really knowing what to do, the went back to Sylia's place with the money. They were followed. Ranma and Ryoga destory the boomers so the Knight Sabers, whom had been waiting for them in Sylia's house, wouldn't get hurt, but not before Sylia's home gets destroyed in the process. Ranma, while being chased by more boomers, decides to allow himself to get captured while Ryoga makes it to safety with the others. He wanted to go back, hoping to find some dirty little secret that would expose the corrupt company. Now captured, Ranma easily breaks from from his holding cell and wanders around Genom Tower unchallenged. He stumbles upon a room where he meets a girl named Lisa Kurinagi. It turns out she's the grown up version of the little girl that had hit Ranma in the face with a brick when he had been training to fight Kurumi and Natsumi, whom had posed as Soun's illegitimate daughters in the OAV 'The One To Carry On'. Still in Genom, Ranma finds out that Genom had planed to resurrect Akane in hopes of killing both him and Ryoga. It was through a special process of decoding her DNA from her bones and downloading her personality code into a sexaroid. It seems Genom had somehow found out Ranma and Ryoga knew a girl named Akane and therefore, might let their guard down when they see her. It was too bad they hadn't known Ranma and Ryoga had hated Genom because it was indirectly their fault she had died. Ranma shoots a ki-blast into the sky as a signal for Ryoga to come to Genom. At one point in time, he ends up saving Madigan and Carper from stray boomer bullets. That had made both Madigan and Carper wonder if Genom had cared if they died or not. At the moment, they believed the boomers had been trying to shoot Ranma and they had gotten in the way. After having saved Madigan and Carper, Ranma continues to make his way through Genom. Afterwards, he tells Lisa to follow through with the plans to resurrect Akane but tells her to leave the program meant to kill out from her programing. Meanwhile, Ryoga and the others are making their way into and up Genom Tower to meet up with Ranma. When Akane gets resurrected, Ranma takes her and runs away. He would come back another day to find their dirty little secret. He was glad to have Akane back. Assembling at Linna's apartment, the Knight Sabers get to know Akane. The next day, Ranma and Akane head out, Ranma wanting to do something normal instead of fighting boomers. Akane gets kidnapped easily when Ranma had stopped to help an old woman move her car out. Hell bent with rage, Ranma goes back to Linna apartment and asks for Ryoga's help. The Knight Sabers, now having knowng Akane and believing her their friend, go along to help. They then goto Genom to retrieve Akane. Fighting through Genom, Ranma discovers one of Genom's dirty little secret, a special chip called the 'OMS' chip. He manages to find and save Akane and threatens to kill Madigan if she tried that again. Scared for her life, she reveals the OMS chip's location when he asks. Too bad she didn't know Ranma would never kill her or anyone. Fighting their way up to the top of the tower, Ranma and the others find the chip but get ambushed. Ryoga ends up shooting a ki- blasts which sends a wall of flame through the corridors, and even toward the group. With nothing to else to do, Ranma pushes everyone out the window where they begning their approximately kilometer freefall to the ground. Ranma used his Hiryu Shoten Ha to stop their freefall and they make their way into the night. Everyone goes to the Knight Sabers' hideout so Nene could examine the chip. While waiting, Sylia decides to test Ranma's reflexes by having him run through one of the training programs she had made. In no time, Ranma amazes the Knight Sabers of his shear speed and reflexs. Ryoga goes through a test where he's to life a barbell to guage his strength, but the maximum weight administered wasn't even enough to faze Ryoga, despite it being well over a couple of tons. There, Ranma reveals to Akane his true curse. It seems that he had been cursed with immortality. He explains how when he's in his cursed form, his original form starts aging back to the same age as when he had fallen into the spring, thus, his unusually young appearance. Also, it is revealled that after changing into his cursed for and then back, all his injuries are healed. That would come in useful. Nene soon tells everyone the bad news after examining the chip. It had been a homing device. The Knight Sabers hideout, now revealed, gets attacked by dozens and dozens of boomers. Ranma gets struck in the chest by a missle. Ryoga laughs at him. Ranma gets angry. Soon, a fight breaks out between Ranma and Ryoga. The boomers get destroyed in the process. Madigan and Carper were walking the streets together, about to separate to head toward their separate apartments. They were talking about how Genom now had the edge now that they knew of the Knight Sabers' hideout location. The soon bump into Ranma and Ryoga. Ranma and Ryoga are unawaree exactly who these people are because he had never actually seen the person intent on killing him and Ryoga before. Ranma knows they work for Genom and tell them to go look for another job because Genom is going down and that he intends to reveal to the world the OMS chip once he gets his hands on the real thing. After some time pass, knowing that they were sitting on a time bomb, Madigan and Carper knew they had to get rid of Ranma before he attacks Genom and gets his hands on the OMS chip. They take the initiative and send out a huge squad of boomers to attack Ranma after they found him and Akane walking down a street. Madigan and Carper decide to command the squad because they wanted things done right. When the boomers attack, a battle ensue between them and Ranma. Unfortunately, Akane gets caught in the crossfire and is killed. Ranma, having seen Akane die for the second time, and by the hands of a boomer, goes absolutely beserk. He tears through each boomer violently, utterly destorying them and then some. Madigan and Carper, too scared to run away after seeing Ranma in a rage, were the only ones left. Ryoga, from a distance, saw a column of energy errupt into the sky and knew that must mean one thing, Ranma's ki aura was flaring out of control, meaning he must be in rage over something. He realizes that the only thing that could do this to Ranma is if Akane had gotten killed. Nene had been with Ryoga at the time because they had bumped into each other. Nene mentions how Akane, being a sexaroid and all, could never really die but would rather shut down for a short while. Of course, Ranma didn't know that so Ryoga must go stop him before he does something rash. Nene goes to tell the Knight Sabers. Ranma, beyond rage, summons his 'seppukku' blast to kill Madigan and Carper, totally unaware that the city would be destroyed in the process. All he wanted was to kill Madigan and Carper. Ryoga manage to arrive just in the nick of time to stop him but is forced to fight and enraged Ranma. Ranma defeats Ryoga easily, but not before Ryoga tells him that Akane was still alive. That seemed to calm Ranma down. Now that he knew Akane could be brought back, Ranma quickly turned Ryoga into his cursed form and then back, to heal him of the injuries Ranma had inflicted on him. Of course, Ranma and Ryoga fight for a bit because Ryoga wanted to kill Ranma for hurting him like that. Ranma and Ryoga realize that they must go to Genom because they require Lisa, Akane's creator's help. The Knight Sabers arrive and take Madigan and Carper into their custody. Ranma and Ryoga go back to Genom and fight their way back up to the same room where Akane had first awoke. Lisa Kurinagi was there also and immdeiately because working on fixing Akane. Lisa had felt that Akane was her ultimate achievement in her field and didn't want to lose her. While Lisa fixes Akane, Ranma and Ryoga go searching through Genom looking for the OMS chip. After Akane is fixed as good as new, Lisa asks Ranma some question. Here is where it is determined that Ranma and Lisa had met before, that she had been the girl that thrown the brick that had hit him in the face. They befriend each other. Before, Lisa had only helped out because she had cared for Akane. Now, it seems different since they had known each other from long ago. Ranma and Ryoga and Akane go back to the Knight Sabers' hideout, or what was left of it. Madigan and Carper were being held in one of the cells within the hideout. Shortly after Ranma and Ryoga got there, the hideout gets attacked by yet another wave of boomers. Ranma and Ryoga bicker and begin to fight each other, destorying boomers along the way. Ranma frees Madigan and Carper, believing they would be sitting ducks in the cell. He wasn't expecting them to make a run for it. When boomers arrived near the cell, Madigan and Carper ran for them, away from cover, only to have Ranma save their lives once again as the boomers opened fire in their general area. Because of this incident, Ranma and Ryoga knew the boomers weren't going to stop coming and that they had to do something. They decide to attack Genom's boomer factory. Afterall, if Genom can't make anymore boomers, then they have nothing to attack Ranma and the others with. Through a cleaver use of words, Ranma finds out from Madigan that the factory is located deep under Genom tower. That meant they had to goto Genom once again. Ranma and Ryoga leave for there, Priss deciding to tag along. As they head toward Genom, they bump into Lisa. Lisa gives valuable information that there exists a supercomputer located directly in the middle of the factory that controls everything and that destorying it will leave Genom defenseless and the factory inoperable. Before they leave, Ranma hands Lisa the OMS chip, saying that if something were to ever happen to them, she should reveal Genom's secret agenda to the public, that the OMS chip was capable of controlling any and every boomer whenever Genom wanted to. While Ranma and Ryoga and Priss were fighting their way to the supercomputer within the factory, Sylia and the others had been in a transport truck on their way to Nene's apartment to think of what to do next, bringing Madigan and Carper with them, when their truck was attacked. A boomer manages break into the truck through the top and opens fire at Madigan and Carper in an attempt to kill them but is destoryed by Akane. When a second boomer tries the same, it, too, gets destoryed. Although Akane had saved Madigan and Carper's life, Carper had been struck by one of the boomer's bullets and is seriously woundered. It is here that is shown just how much Madigan had cared for Carper. It is also here where she realizes that she had been nothing but a pawn for Genom, only to be exposed of when she was no longer of use. She finally decides to cooperate with the Knight Sabers. As the boomers continue to attack the transport truck, Leon shows up and kills the last remain boomer. Madigan tells Sylia and the others that if the supercomputer gets destoryed, the factory will self destruct and that Genom Tower would topple. Sylia, Akane, and Linna head for the factory to stop Ranma and Ryoga from carrying out their plan. Nene stayed behind to get the police to evacuate the city, in case Genom Tower did topple over. It is mentioned that the factory is located around a mile underground, has mile high ceiling, and is roughly a mile wide. The best way to describe the size of the factory was that it looked like a huge bowl turn upside down and that there was a city-like factory within it. In the factory, Ranma gets seriously hurt when a missle hit him in the back, knocking him unconsious. Ryoga is forced to fight the boomers alone, Priss of little help. It turns out the the supercomputer was creating superboomers on the fly as a form of self-preservation. Pretty soon, Ryoga goes beserk from being hit by missles so much and goes on a rampage, destorying everything in his path. Unfortunately, it took a lot out of him and he falls unconsious also, leaving Priss totally alone. Priss remembers what Ranma had said, about his wounds being cured if he became cured and that water triggers the curse. She drags Ranma throught he corridors looking for water but finding none. She ends up pushing him and jumping off a platform into a cylinder of coolant. That seemed to have to done the job because Ranma turned into his cursed form, shocking Priss because she was seeing this for the first time. Ranma immediately makes a mad dash to find some hot water to revert back, succeeding after boiling another cylinder of coolant using his ki. Now cured and fully healed, Ranma goes back and gets Ryoga, throwing him into the coolant, changing him into his cursed for, which also shocked Priss, and changing him back. Now that they were both cured, they went back to destorying the supercomputer. Sylia and the others arrive too late. Just as they ran into the room with the supercomputer, Ranma let loose the ki-blast that finally destroyed the computer. The self destruct sequence initiates, giving Ranma and the others twenty minutes to leave the premises. Ranma finds out that there is no way to stop the countdown and that once the factory self-destructs, Genom Tower will topple because it was located directly under it. Ranma says that he will stop it by using his most powerful blast to destory the main section of the factory, the part that would contain the actual self-destruct mechanism. Or course, he would have to die in the process because he would never be able to survive a ki-blast of that magnitude. No one wants Ranma to die, especially the Knight Sabers because they considered him a very good friend, but Ranma insists that its the right thing to do. He tells them that this isn't really his world, that his world had been destoryed in the Nerima Massacre. When Akane insists that she will stay along side Ranma, that she didn't want him to die alone, Ranma punched Akane in the stomach, causing her to internal system to go into shock, knocking her out. Everyone says their goodbyes, the individual Knight Sabers realizing that in some way, Ranma had rubbed off on them and that had fallen for him. Ranma wishes everyone a happy life and that Ryoga take good care of Akane. After some exchange in words, everyone leaves as Ranma prepares for his final moments. When everyone was a good distance away, well over a mile, from where the focal point of Ranma's seppukku blast would occur, Akane had awoke. She realizes where she was and immediately runs away from the group, heading straight back toward the main section. As everyone screams for her to get back, Ryoga tells them that it's no use. He tells them that he, too, doesn't belong here, that his world had ended after the Nerima Masscre. He says goodbye and runs down the corridor Akane had just taken. Akane arrive by Ranma's side with about two minutes left. Ranma screams at the two of them that they were stupid and should not had come back but eventually gives up when Akane tells him that she didn't want him to die alone. Ryoga arrives with a little over a minute left. Ranma realizes that this was probably meant to be, that he and Ryoga were destined to die together, that one's life would never be the same without the other. They say their goodbyes and hope to see each other on the other side. Before the factory self-destructs, Ranma and Ryoga use their seppukku blasts on each other. Sylia and the others watched as the blast expanded for over a mile, destorying everything, taking their friends along with it. Several years pass. Genom is brought down after Lisa reveals the OMS chip to the public. The world goes into economic chaos because boomers were taken off the market. The entire world was set back well over a decade in technology because other this. Lisa is considered a national hero for exposing Genom but she never acknowledges it, knowing Ranma was the real hero. As she stares out of the rain, she thinks about the time she had met Ranma and starts to cry. Somewhere, we see Ranma and Ryoga and Akane looking down at the city. They chat for a short while about how great it is to be back, about having finally gotten cured of his curse, and how much Japan has changed since they were last there so many years ago. They also comment about how everything looks more familiar. More like.... Home. Just Won't Die 2: The Angel that just won't die The fic starts off with Ranma cursing himself for getting into this fix. Ranma had gotten his hands on a special box that had somehow transported him to this world. He didn't seem worried because he was sure there was a way back. An Angel attack occurs shortly after Ranma arrives and he believes they were alien invader there to take over the world. He ends up hading into Tokyo-3 for a better look. One thing to take into consideration was that when I wrote this fic, the Angels were not meant to be described because I didn't want to set it at a certain time during the series and have it go through the expected chain of events because I had not even seen the series then. When Ranma arrived at Tokyo-3, MAGI picked up on his battle aura and seemed to mistaken him for another Angel. Ranma and Asuka meet for the first time. From within her EVA, she yells at Ranma for being an idiot because he wasn't supposed to be outside during an Angel attack. While yelling, she gets attacked by the Angel, an Angel that happens to look like a spider. Shinji and Asuka fight the Angel but are overwhelmed. At one point, Shinji's EVA becomes unfunctional and Ranma tries to free him. However, Ranma decides to help and shoots a ki-blast, destroying the Angel's AT field. Because the Angel no longer had an AT field, it had been vulnerable so it decided to self-destruct. Ranma had been caught in the blast and was knocked unconsious. When he woke up, he was in a observation room within Nerv Headquarters and was being oberserved by Misato, Ritsuko, and Gendo. Although seperated by a one-way mirror, Ranma was able to see them. Be basically ignores them and leaves Nerv on his own free will. As he exited he notices these upside down buildings. Misato, who had followed him lets him knows he's in GeoFront. Ranma eventually gets annoyed at Misato asking question and makes his way up toward the surface by running up a steeply declining cable line that hung from the mile high ceiling. When Misato goes back into Nerv to tell Gendo she's lost him, he tells her that he wants her to bring him in because he wants to know exactly who this Ranma person is. Misato manages to find Ranma on the surface as he was wandering around. She stops him and tells that his powers could be very useful to Nerv. Ranma declines and Misato threatens to shoot him with the tranquilizer gun she was carrying. Ranma catches the dart she shoots. He tells her he doesn't want to be a ginuea pig and just wants to go home. As he was about to leave, he bumps into Rie, Shinji, and Asuka as they were on their way home from school. Asuka calls Ranma and idiot because she recognizes him from before. Ranma finds out those children were the EVA pilots. Asuka shows him her hostility toward Ranma as he ignores her to leave. Just as he was about to run off, a siren sounds out, signifying an incoming Angel. Ranma offers to help. He ends up agreeing that he'll stop by her place sometime to show her how ki works. Ranma helps out. From a building, he sees the Angel and is told what to do via an external speaker by Misato. He shoots a ki blast that destorys the Angel's AT field where three EVAs take over and destroy the Angel. Before it was defeat however, the Angel self destructs and Ranma gets consumed in the explosion yet again. Ranma shows up at Misato's apartment. We find out that Ranma disappeared after the explosion cause he didn't want to be questioned and such for his involvement. Misato was the only one there and lets him in. They talk and Ranma reveals he's somewhere around sixty despite looking twentyish. Ranma talk about what ki is and how it works when Shinji and Asuka show up. Asuka shows hostility and wants Ranma to leave. Ranma starts teasing her. She eventually gets on Ranma's nerves so much that he presses a pressure point on her breast to get her to fall asleep. He carries her to the room Misato says is Asuka and comes back out and starts talking about ki again. Shinji is interested and Ranma offers a demonstration. Ranma shows Shinji how to use ki. He allows some of his own ki flow into Shinji to make him able to throw a ki-blast. He shows him how to use ki for protective purposes before calling it a night and leaving. She offers him a place to crash for the night but he declines and leaves, telling Shinji he'll show him some more tomorrow night. Ritsuko ends up seeing Ranma as he was wandering the streets after leaving Misato's apartment. It was just a scene where she sees Ranma crossing the street and getting even with a pissed off motorist because Ranma hadn't crossed the street completely when the light turned green. He had picked the car up and moved it into an awkward position where it was perpendicular to the curb. After that, Ritsuko approaches Ranma. He remembers who she is and says it must be dangerous out this late at night so he offers to walk her home. She had declined recluctantly. The next day, while Shinji and Asuka and Rei were at school they spot Ranma in the front courtyard. Ranma was there to tell Shinji that he'll show him some more demonstrations with ki since he didn't have much time the other night. He ends up telling Shinji he'll show him more after school because he wants to do something else at night. Asuka starts taunting Ranma, calling him 'oyaji' because she found out his age. Ranma teases back and eventually plays hardball. He ends up going to the classroom where he pretends he's the substitute teacher since the other teacher hadn't arrive yet. He decides now is a good time to show Shinji some ki as any. He openly demonstrates how ki works for a short while before the real teacher comes in and Ranma had to leave. After school, he meets up with Shinji and Asuka and Rei. Asuka and Ranma exchange words yet again. Asuka ends up really getting on Ranma that he eventually threatens to grab her breasts again and put her to sleep like last time. She stops. He tells Shinji he'll show him some more about ki. Misato shows up to pick the children up. Ranma end up following them to Nerv because the children had to do the synchronization tests and that he could teach Shinji after the test. At Nerv, while waiting for the synchronzation test to be finished, Ranma figured he might as well demonstrate his powers for everyone to analyse. He is put in a chamber where he is free to do whatever he wants to destroy a cylinder in the middle of the huge reinforced room. By now, the children were finished with their test. The cylinder in the room was made of the same material as the one used for the EVA's armor. Ranma destroys the cylinder easily with a ki-blast. It gets replaced with another. Ranma ends up trying to develop a new technique on the spot. It ends up being a super powerful punch. He had made his hand glow red. He punched the cylinder and was cuaght in the explosion that erupted from the punch. The room gets destroyed and Ranma gets knocked into a coma. Several months pass. Ranma waks up. He finds out he was in a coma and that the children had managed to luckily defeat several Angel without his help, despite it being hard won battles. Ranma gets dressed and realizes that he's been on that world too long and really wants to go home. He plans on going to China to find the nanban mirror so he can travel back. As he was about to leave, another Angel shows up. Standing on a building a short while later, Ranma sees the Angel on a nearby mountain top. He is startled by what he sees. The scene changes onto Ryoga. It seems Ryoga was mistakened by the Angel. He arrives via the nanban mirror of his world to fetch Ranma because Ranma had been gone for so long. Unfortunately, Ryoga accidentally break the mirror because he had appeared in mid-air and had lost grip of the mirror when he lands on the ground with a big thud. Ranma and Ryoga meet up at the top that mountain. They exchange words on why Ryoga was there. It turns out that Akane had been worried about where Ranma had been and Ryoga wanted to go find him because he wanted to make her happy, not because he cared for Ranma. They end up fighting and nearly destroying the mountain they were on. Ryoga accidentally nockd over an EVA in the process. After they calm down, Ryoga realize that there's no way back home now that the mirror is broken. Ranma tells Ryoga of his plan, to goto China to find the nanban mirror of that world. That's when Ritsuko mention that China has been flood ever since the Second Impact. That's when Ryoga and Ranma start to panic. In Nerv, Ranma talks to everyone and soon believes that perhaps the part of China he's looking for is not underwater. Misato mentions that perhaps Nerv can use one of its satellite to find out if that particular region of China is still above water, to save them the trip. However, when Ranma and Ryoga approach Gendo to ask for help, Gendo refused. Ranma ends up getting angry because he has been helping Nerv all this time and calls Gendo a dick and even threatens him. They decide to do things on their own and was about to leave to head for China when another Angel attacks. Ranma and Ryoga help out. The Angel is within city limits. Ryoga offers to shoot a ki-blast but Ranma says the explosion will blow up buildings. He calls Ryoga an idiot. They start to fight as the EVAs battle the Angel. At one point, Ranma saves Ryoga by hitting him with a ki-blast before the Angel had a change to use one of its ribbon like arms to slice him to bits. Of course, Ryoga doesn't appreciate being hit with ki-blasts, let alone Ranma so they fight. They eventually stop to help the EVAs out. Ranma used his Hiryu ShotenHa technique to send the Angel out of the city limits and into a nearby mountain. He uses his ki- blast to destory the AT field. From there, the EVAs pick the Angel off from a distance. After the battle, Ranma and Ryoga get ready to leave for China but Misato nearly pleads for them to stay one more night because she wants to know more about ki and its amazing ability to destroy an Angel's AT field. They agree to stay. They end up fighting again. They stop when they realize they're hungry and leave together. Everyone's confused on whether or not Ranma and Ryoga hate each other. Ranma show up at Misato's house at night. Ryoga is gone because he got lost after eating at a diner. Ranma and Shinji end up leaving for a nearby open field so that Ranma wouldn't have to worry about destroying buildings while he demonstrated. Ranma brings Shinji back several hours later. Shinji's exhausted. Ranma asks to use Misato's shower. He figures he should stay the night in case Ryoga shows up. Inside the bathroom, he meets PenPen and learns of the the awkward fact that Misato hangs her underwear in the bathroom. After a shower, Ranma and Asuka end up getting into another verbal fight. Afterwards, Ranma goes to sleep. The next day, Misato ends up leaving Ranma behind in her apartment alone, the kids already having gone off to school. It seems she trusts him quite a bit. Hours later, Asuka comes home angry. She ends up comments on how disgusting the food Ranma had made looked. It seems that she sees that Ranma is still there and figured he'd have left for China already. They begin arguing. Ranma gets fed up and leaves. He wants to go for a walk. Ranma ends up bumping into Rei. He tries to talk to her but she ignores him. He asks if he's bothering her and she says she doesn't really care. He ends up leaving. After a short while, Ryoga ends up bumping into Rei as she was on her way home. We find out that Ryoga had been lost since last night after the dinner and doesn't know where Misato's apartment is. Sure, Ranma had given him the address, but he couldn't find it. Rei ends agreeing to escort Ryoga to Misato's apartment. Before they headed there, Ryoga sees Rei's apartment. He realizes how run down it is an believes she should live in a better place. There, he finds out that she has no parents and is living there alone. They leave for Misato's apartment. Ranma, while walking around, bumps into Misato. She almost crashed her car into him. Ranma doesn't even seem worried about getting hit since he's so damn powerful and says her car would probably end up in worser condition. They chat about what's going on, about how Ranma had left the apartment because of Asuka. She ends up asking him out to dinner. Ranma mentions how its the same on this world as others, that girls are always hitting on him. Misato ends up retracting her invitation and leaving him. A pretty funny scene to read if you think about it. Asuka was in the gameroom playing game. She wanted to let off some steam from her argument earlier with Ranma. Some guy ends up grabbing her rear ends as he was walking by which enraged her. She ends up punching him in the mouth. She gets scared because she soon realizes that the boy was larger, taller, very mean-looking, and had several friends behind him. Ryoga ends up showing up at the right moment and tells the boy to leave Asuka alone. When the boy threatens Rygoa, Ryoga threatens back and scares the boys away. They end up heading back to Misato's apartment. Ranma shows back up at the apartment and sees Ryoga, Misato, Asuka, and Rei there. They end up simply chatting into the late hours of the night. Ranma offers to stay another day because he showed back up at the apartment so late. After a while, Shinji and Asuka nod off to sleep and Rei is starting to get sleepy. Ranma and Ryoga end up walking Rei home. There, Ranma discovers what kind of apartment Rei lived in. After dropping her off, they both decided to sleep outside her apartment because they wanted to make sure nothing happened to her at night since the apartment looked like it was located in a bad area. Rei shows some for of emotions when she realizes their concern. The next day, Ranma ends up walking Rei to school. Ryoga continued to sleep because he hadn't slept since the night when he had gotten lost after the dinner the other day. While on their way, they engage in some meaningful conversation where Ranma finds out quite a bit about her. After dropping her off, he heads off for the run down apartment to get Ryoga when he bumps into Misato. He asks her if there was any way possible to get Rei to live in a nicer apartement, in a nicer neighborhood. Misato mentions that he'd have to speak to Gendo about that. Ranma head toward Nerv. At Nerv, Ranma approaches Gendo. He and Gendo exchange words and Ranma comes up witha proposal. Ranma and Ryoga would leave this world if Gendo were to transfer Rei to a nicer place of residence. Gendo agrees because he believes Ranma and Ryoga would end up being Nerv's downfall if they stayed. Their help was no longer needed anyway. Rei gets transferred to a nice apartment and Ranma and Ryoga leave for China. Rei doesn't really understand why someone like Ranma and Ryoga would care so much about her. About a month pass and Ranma and Ryoga come back to GeoFront. It seems the have found the nanban mirror of this world and was using it as a transportation device. They show up while Nerv was in complete anarcy. Over the course of the month, the children had defeated the rest of the Angels. With all the Angels defeated, Seele had wanted to get its hands on Unit-01. In order to understand this better, it's best that you've watched 'End of Evangelion'. Ranma and Ryoga show up as Asuka was in the middle of her enraged battle against the nine white mass production EVAs. As she was nearing her final moments before her EVA ran out of power, Ranma and Ryoga come to the rescue. Asuka's EVA gets badly damaged from Ranma's intervention and soon no longer functions. Ranma and Ryoga end up trying to take on the EVAs on their own. Ryoga held them off while Ranma broke through Asuka's EVA's armor to save her. Ranma is forced to use that new technique he had developed that had put him in a coma a short while back. However, he manages to survive the blast this time. After that, they ran for Nerv, but not before Asuka activated the delay self- destruct program within her EVA. Once inside Nerv, Ryoga destroys the front entrace to cover the entrance completedly for when the EVA exploded. The EVAs are destroyed in the explosion. Ranma finally passes out from the pain his technique had caused. As Ryoga was trying to carry everyone to an infirmary, they bump into Shinji crying over a badly injured Misato. It seems Misato had been shot. Shinji ends up saying that it was his dad that had shot her. After a moment, he becomes furious and ends up picking up Misato's gun and running down toward Central Dogma saying that he was going to kill his father. Ryoga, after dropping Misato and Ranma off at the infirmary, arrived in Central Dogman. He finds Shinji lying on the floor bleed, having been shot. A naked Rei was near him. Nearby, he also saw Ritsuko lying in a pool of LCL and Gendo lying dead off elsewhere. It seems Shinji had managed to kill his father, but not before he had managed to shoot Ritsuko. As Ryoga was trying to help Shinji and Rei, Keel Lorenz shows up from the shadows and grabs Ryoga by his throat and lift him off his feet. He tells Ryoga that no one's going to stop him from achieving his goal. He wants to get his hands on Rei so they can implement the Third Impact. Ryoga struggles but can break free. That's when Ranma makes an entrance. Ranma sneak up behind Lorenz where he taps him on the should. When Lorenz turns around, Ranma plants his newly aquire technique right in his face. When the explosion from the fist erupted, Ranma grabbed Ryoga and used the nanban mirror to warp over to Shinji and Ritsuko and Rei and wisked them all way, as the explosion consumed Nerv Headquarters. A short time pass where Ranma and the others were looking down at what remained of Tokyo-3. They were waiting to see the sunrise one last time. It seems N2 bombs had been dropped to duke the city and to keep everyone ignorant of Seele and what had been their intentions. They find out what had happened. It seems Ranma and Ryoga helping Rei is what caused her to refuse to help Gendo out at the most critical moment. She talked about how she was a clone of the Rei they knew but still retained all the old Rei's memories. Ranma asks everyone if they really want to do this, to go with him to his world. They all say they might as well because there was nothing left on this world for them. When the sun finally rose, they all said goodbye to that world. Ranma, Ryoga, Asuka, Shinji, Misato, Ritsuko, and Rei disappeared to another world. They arrive back at Ranma's world, in MegaTokyo. He makes a comment how that world would eventually become their home. Just Won't Die 3: This fic is probably the most different of my Just Won't Die series. If you've read it, you'll notice it nothing like the other parts. That's because I had focused more on character interactions than overall plotline. You can easily tell this because there was no plot until nearly midway through the fic. This is going to be a short synopsis. The fic starts off just one day after Ranma and the others arrived back on this world. Basically, Asuka, Rei, Shinji, Ritsuko, and Misato are crashing at Ranma's home until they know what to do. Ryoga was lost already. In the beginning of the fic, Asuka ends up walking in on Ranma as he was on his way out of his early morning shower. After an awkward encounter, Asuka got the bathroom. Ranma asks Misato and Ritsuko if they had sent Asuka in there as a joke. He finds out it hadn't. He walks over the side of the house where he stops Shinji trying to peep in on Asuka. They exchange words, Ranma commenting on how he doesn't really care what Shinji does. Ranma, curious, decides to take a peep. Some asks him what he was doing and he says he was tying to peep in on Asuka. He finds out Misato and Ritsuko had came around the house looking for him. Shinji had somehow mysteriously disappeared. Ranma tries to defend himself but gives up, knowing that he's going to lose either way. The girls say they're going to tell Asuka. Ranma ends up making a comment that Asuka should be flattered then. That's when they slap him. Ranma goes talk to Shinji in his room about what had happened. Afterward, he goes downstairs to put some cold water because the slap mark stun. The kitchen was being used by Akane, who was cooking, so he goes into the changing room of the bathroom. He turns on the water and hears a scream from the other side. He rushes into the bathing room and sees a naked Misato. She covers herself up as everyone, except Asuka, rushes in. She says she screamed because the water had turned scolding on her. Akane noticed the cold water running in the faucet and realized Ranma had purposely turned on the cold water so that Misato's shower stall would become hot, so he can run in and see her naked when she yelped. Misato tells Akane that they had saw Ranma trying to peep on Asuka earlier. Ranma tried to explain but gets punched right out through the bathroom wall. Ranma, annoyed at the misunderstanding, leaves. While walking around, he bumps into Asuka. She hadn't been home during that cold water incident. It seems Asuka is lost wandering around and Ranma knows this. He offers her help but she refused. The end up parting their own ways. He heads off for AD Police Headquarters to visit Nene. He shows up and talks to Nene about having everyone stop by his place and leaves to talk to the others. He also orders some sheetrock to fix that hole in the bathroom wall. On the way home, which is still morning, now that it's raining, he bumps into Asuka as she was hiding out in a restaurant from the rain. He offers her help but she refuses again. He leaves the restaurant. After a moment, Asuka realizes she needs his help and goes after him. He was waiting for her right outside and they went home. They arrive home from a late breakfast. As they eat, everyone finds out some stuff on Akane and how she knows Ranma from the past. After eating, Ranma goes to fix the hole in the bathroom wall now that the sheetrock has arrived. He ends up walking in on Shinji. He asks Shinji for help whom agreed. They work the rest of the afternoon fixing the hole. When evening rolls around, Sylia, Linna, and Priss show up. They meet Misato and the others for the first time. Because Nene wasn't there, Ranma pushed back the reservations at a diner. They indulge in conversation. Asuka notice that Sylia and Linna and Priss seem to have a thing for Ranma and is disgusted. When Nene arrive they all goto dinner. They catch up on the times, on how they met and such. You find out that Ranma is not interested in dating anyone. After dinner, they goto an amusement park. Ranma goes on the rides with the three children. Sylia and the others call in a night and leave. Ranma, Akane, Misato, Ritsuko, and the three children end up walking home. They end up carrying the children because they fell asleep from having fun. On the way home, the go through a bad neighborhood but the Misato and Ritsuko realize that they're not worried because Ranma's with them. Next day, Asuka was carrying a mirror. Ranma takes it away and tells her its the nanban mirror. He tells her of its magical properties and how it can make you go back in time. He never bothered to tell her exactly how it worked. Asuka askes Akane but Ranma had told her not to tell. Ryoga ends up showing at the house. Asuka asks him and he tells her, that one must shed a tear on the mirror and think of the time and location they wanted to goto. Now that she knew how it worked, she had to find it. Asuka searches through Ranma's room for it. Ranma walks in and wonders if she's an underwear thief that wanted to steal his underwear. After much embarrassment, Ranma revealled that he had kept the mirror in his underwear draw. He handt the mirror over the Akane for safekeeping. Akane comments that Asuka is pretty determined to get that mirror. They're know that Asuka wants to preven the Second Impact. Ranma yields and gives the mirror to Asuka, but on one condition. The chat over dinner how preventing the Second Impact won't effect their world, that they'll never see the outcome unless they live there from then on. Asuka doesn't care. She just wants the Asuka of her world to live a better life than she had. After some talking, Ranma tells Asuka that he's going with her back to the past of her world. They were to leave the next day. The next day, they leave and arrive in Tokyo one month prior to the Second Impact on Asuka's world. Arriving there, Ranma seeks out food. They eat lunch together where Ranma offers to press a pressure point that will speed up Asuka metabolism, allowing her to eat more food aside from salad and such. She agrees and he does so and thanks him. After eating, they go out to buy some arctic wear. At a store, Asuka comments of Ranma's lack of fashion and offers to help him find something that would look nice. Ranma and Asuka end up having to share a motel room together. Asuka is extremely nervous and has trouble sleeping. She is sleeping on the bed while he is to sleep on the floor. After a while, Ranma gets up and goes toward her bed. She threatens to scream out rape and Ranma is shocked that she would even think of something like that. He had only wanted to offer to push her sleep pressure point so that she could sleep well. He had somehow known she couldn't sleep. She declines. Later that night, she ends up waking Ranma up because she still couldn't sleep. He pushes the pressure point and she goes to sleep. Asuka wakes up feeling refreshed. She even says good morning to Ranma. After the shower, they would head south until they hit the ocean. From there, they would find a boat that would sail them all the way to Antactica. Asuka, realizing that this was going to be a month long sailing trip with Ranma, is now having doubts. However, it wouldn't be that bad because there would be other people on the ship. Thirteen hours later, Ranma ended up carrying Asuka the rest of the way to the port because she was too exhausted and wanted to sleep. Asuka wakes up on a ship. She was in its sleeping quarters. She starts to panic because Ranma was nowhere to be found. As if on cue, he enters the room. He tells her they're on a tiny family ship. It seems there was no ship they could hitch a ride that went that far south so Ranma had bought a ship. She finds out that its just him and her on the ship and that they were already a good deal out to sea already. Asuka starts getting used to the fact that it was only the two of them on the ship. However, she is still nervous nad has her doubt. To keep her mind occupied, she ends up allowing Ranma to show her how to sail. After a few days, Ranma anchores the ship because he wants to take a dip in the ocean.
